Hey dear HB Forum,

I have now returned to World of Warcraft, and botted quite a lot back in MoP.
Back in the days, I earned my gold with simple mining.
My question is now, how do you earn gold in this expansion?

What profiles and professions are you using? I am very very happy for every answer, since I feel completely lost in this expansion.

Trapping for Savage Bloods - Requires level 3 Barn.
Skinning, fur and grinding AIO usually can net some good gold on a 24/7 suicide account.

Sea scorpion flesh - 2-3k/hour but you can't flood the market as it will be really obvious (spread sales across multiple characters). Get a level3 fishing shack and you can do it in the safety of your own garrison.

IMO safest way on a non-suicide account is to use relogger and switch profiles and characters every 1-2 hours to diversify time online as well as products. This also doesn't crash a market (if you farm sea scorp 24 hours you could really swing the price on a low/med pop server).

Anyway, my 2cents but I've only been botting 1 month

Seriously sick of that "i want everything for free even if devs spend hundreds on hours to code it". Paid stuff works and if not they will be fixed.
Free stuff is for free and its totally up to the author to fix bugs or not and for whom.
Stop that "before the store everything was better or different bullshit". 1920 everything was different too but better?
Now is now and there has never been so much content for HB like now - paid or free.

If you "don't give a shit on paid" stuff please leave your comment for yourself and be happy with the free content.
If you want to support the community, support it buy paying for the devs work or create something yourself and release it for free if you like.

And sence when does paying for the bot which should include free profiles hence over 100k users at the least amount for 1 bot means HB just made millions id say you are some greedy mother fuckers. Not all of us made shit tons of gold off of wow and sence the gold market crashed not much room to make a killing so please tell me how you are not gutting every user out of there money? go cry to somone else who doesnt know what you are truly doing to the botting community. You say it takes you hundreds of hours coding but lets all be honest 1 hour or hundreds coding to those that know how isnt shit just sitting on your fat ass punching keys so get over yourself. And yes HB was somthing back when it offered free profiles for the simple fact that they did make millions was well deserved we were the ones who kept you guys coding for new shit not the other way around if we didnt buy your god dam product you wouldnt be coding shit and there wouldnt be a botting community so think about that before you bag on the old time users that prefer it to be back when developers and HB didnt get greedy. Also if you compair your PAID profiles to the free ones you see alot of difference. the free ones arent shit anymore really gutted and simple with barley any support out there. And we know why that is its FREE. so go ahead im sure HB will be a bunch of pussies and bann me for saying this even tho im right or delete it but not before i got my point accross you all that think you should be paid even more are pathetic and the reason why this botting community will go down in flames.

Leaving comments like this will not get you anywhere. I am happy to provide a free profile for you if you just ask for it or use the request section. I check that section on a daily basis and if it is something I feel I can do, I do it at no cost.

Im not saying all free profiles are bad im just saying since the release of the store the free ones have taken a hit by far. I've used HB since cata and seen everything go from good to really bad. And im not here bagging on all developers there are good ones out there kick is by far one of my fav. haven't seen to much of you gatherit but ill go check out what you got. I just get really tired of people pushing those paid bullshit around when really alot of us are still old fashioned and set in are ways even tho the economy has and will go to shit. I know botting isnt safe but its also not cheap either. If you are one of those that gets a hit from a bann wave you loose everything. Ive lost 5 accounts in 4 years and alot of them were my mains. Which im not one of those that has alot of extra cash lying around to farm on 5 different accounts. but building a new account cost on average 50 dollars so thats 200 over the last 4 years that has gone wasted and im one of the safer botters i don't bg i dont farm for more then 4 hours and im always changing just bad luck i get stuck don't notice it right away or farm when another botter is farming and get banned nothing i can do but this is why i get so pissed about HB charging for good profiles. Like the cc profiles. you use to be able to configure them now you cant do shit but hit start and hope it pumps out the dps fast enough. so you see my level of frustration and i really do have valid points i might not put them out there in a polite manner but they do make sense.

There are paid and free profiles on the store. Both types you are required to support for X amount of time in a contract forum.

Yes you paid for a bot and you got that. Go look at Demon buddy, Arch Buddy, Hearthbuddy
NONE including HonorBuddy say they come with any profiles and any profiles on those forums are all made by forum users. THERE ARE ALOT of sites that cannot be promoted here with PAID profiles / plugins before the store Existed. Free profiles were a way to try and promote your work to get people to search for your site. Now you don't have to. This also minimizes security risks to you. And protects the work of the DEV

I don't know where im going with this. Just trying to say Buddybots provide the platform and know how but not the profiles them self. If unhappy with free profiles Make your own that's what your suppose to do but most are to lazy to. OR donate to the free ones you like to keep the DEV happy and to keep him updating but remember donating is like paying. maybe you donate 5$ and if it was on the store it would be 2.50 you dbled what he would charge. Or just take life handouts cause there free,

Again Not saying you. But there are so many people on here that don't donate for the DEV time..

The free profiles offered on the forums have been donated by HB users, not the HB staff. If you want more free profiles maybe you should create some and offer them for free as well.

I was just going to say the same thing, but to this I would add - this is a community of botters; both users and developers. If you had ever developed any profiles, you would certainly realize that a lot of time and effort, trial and error, testing and breaking, rinse and repeat goes into every profile. So yes, while a lot of us developers post profiles for free, there is nothing bad about developers floating the BuddyStore and their profiles on there.

Now, with that said, for someone like you, to jump into this community and bash everyone, curse at them, and curse the developers, users, and staff - is completely irrational. It's people like you that turn simple questions like, "...Any advice on making gold in WoD?" into a thread filled with anger.

+1 to the staff for temporarily muting you, and hopefully you'll come back and think twice about the developers posting their hard-work profiles on the BuddyStore.


Now, on to a recommendation, & enough with the troll:

I highly recommend Skinning and Fur as the prices are still rather good on those. Meat has taken some what of a fall in the AH now that cooking is a thing of 2014. I just posted an updated version of a great Grinding profile, that combined with the AutoTrapper plugin can pull not only Fur and Skins, Meat and Epics, but can also trap beasts for your Barn to save up for Savage Bloods. Additionally, Gatherit also has a pretty recent profile that would be great for this combo as well:

These are both FREE profiles, and even if they are heavily used, they're randomized and are still very profitable - and don't follow predictable paths.

To OP:

About 1.5k a day for Savage bloods (1-2), there are profiles out there. Otherwise I don't do much, you can grind leather if you want (nagrand has some good spots that also give fur) but I've been too lazy to capitalise on it (or rather, too busy finishing up mount runs for dungeons and loremaster of EK).

Here are the ones I use for tramplers, my grind spot is the same for level 2 barn and I'm not uploading that lol. I advise you to have a strong CR and a strong toon to do it with. I tried the direfang alphas but they just wrecked me every time. Even then on the tramplers I die maybe one in every 10.
