Wizzard guide for MP3

I am botting since long time with this gear/skills setup and it is doing a great job.
Here is the build : Wizard - Game Guide - Diablo III
What you NEED from your gear is :
1. few hundred LoH. For this I recommend Storm Crow ( legendary wizzard hat), its cheap and gives you great stats.
2. 18/30 Arcane power on crit . This depends on your crit chanse and if you are going with shield or wiz of hand. If you have high crit% it will be good with 18+.
3. 850+ all res unbuffed and about 40k HP
4. Crit chanse. Get this as much as possible use scoundrel for 3% crit bonus
5. You don't need much dps for this build, however the efficiency of the runs depends from it . But try to aim for 60k+ for best results

MP3 is inferior to MP0 in every possible way (IPH/DPH/XPH etc).

Archon builds are superior for speedfarming MP0.

However, if you'd managed to get your Wizzie bot decked out with, say...about 150k-200k dps and could farm MP3 as effeciently and as fast as MP0, wouldn't it be worth it? MP3 gives you that 17% (I believe it's 17% on MP3, 8% on MP2 and 2%? on MP1) chance for an additional rare to drop off an elite. So I mean if you'd be able to breeze through MP3 as fast (or even a little bit slower, but still little to no deaths) as you could MP0, wouldn't it be better in the long run to do MP3?

I know 17% doesn't sound like a huge number, but over hours and hours and runs and runs, it no doubt add's up.

*I only question this because I'm just now making a wizard bot, i've got 4 Monk bots already and the one i've geared out well enough to do MP3 with ease usually has the more packed stash in the morning when I check them all, and currently he's about 12 P-lvl's lower then my 2nd best geared monk who's running on MP2 for speed and ease...could probably do MP3 but not as effeciently*

Wizards can't run beyond +24% Movespeed unlike Monks.

Ah fair enough, I guess that's an aspect of the monk i've been taking for granted

However, 24% MS on MP0 or MP3, if the DPS is high enough, wouldn't it still be best to do MP3? (assuming your DPS would make it as fast, or almost as fast, as running on MP0)
