Witch Doctor (Pet/Helltooth) Disable melee attack?

Any suggestions how to do this?

Bot has nothing to really attack with so it runs in melee range and attkacks with default melee power. It would work a lot better if the bot just stood still a few units from the monsters instead of running into melee range..

Similar to jade, if it has nothing to cast except melee attack, it should just move to a nearby safe spot that's not too far away imo. You wanna stay pretty close to your targets.
