I've been tweaking Trinity to make my LeapQuake barb botting more effecient. Seen a couple of people request some of the changes I had already made so I'll share them with everyone and continue to update as I make more personal tweaks.

THIS WILL ONLY WORK WITH TRINITY 1.9.4
If there is a new version of Trinity expect this post to be updated within 12-24 hours

What's Different?
Before: Earthquake would only be used on Elites. Wasting a lot of potential damage from our reduced cooldown set bonus)
After: Earthquake will now be used on Elites or when 3 or more Trash mobs are present.

Before: Earthquake was being used when mobs were way out of range.
After:Earthquake will now be used only when at least 1 mob within 10 yards of you.

Before: Leap was being wasted on single trash mobs when you had enough Fury to finish them off with HoTA.
After: Will only Leap on single trash mobs if you don't have enough fury to HoTA.

How to use
  1. Download the attached file.
  2. Place it in DemonBuddy/Plugins/Trinity/Combat/Abilities/
  3. Overwrite when prompted. (You may want to create a backup of the rrrrix's original file)
  4. Open or restart DemonBuddy
  5. Go to Plugins > Trinity > Config > Variables > Open Trinity Variable Configuration and change the following lines to the following values
    • Barbarian.Leap.UseRange - 50
    • Barbarian.Leap.EliteRange - 40
    • Barbarian.Leap.TrashRrange - 40
    • Barbarian.HammerOfTheAncients.Minfury - Your HoTA Fury cost (see below if you don't know how to figure this out)
    • SpellDelay.Barbarian_Leap - 100
  6. Click Save then close the Variables window.
  7. Click Save Settings on the Trinity options window.

How to figure out your HoTA Fury cost
Add up all your resource reduction (including Cindercoat) and divide it by 5 then round down.
For example, my HoTA cost reduction is:
7.8% (Paragon) + 30% (Cindecoat) = 37.8%
37.8 / 5 = 7.56
7.56 rounded down = 7
20 (base HoTA cost) - 7 = 13 Fury final HoTA cost

If anyone has any behavioral tweak ideas they can think of that would improve the efficiency of botting with the LeapQuake build post them here and I'll do my best to implement them.

gj i going to test it now!

Sometimes it have full fury and leaps to kill 1-3 trashes instead use hota despite the fact that i set min pack size to 6

If there are 3 or more trash mobs on screen it will prioritise Leap. It isn't looking for clusters any more.

Example:
If there is 1 trash 3 yards in front of you, and 2 more trash moving towards you from the distance then you will Leap.
If there is 1 trash 3 yards in front of you and 2 ranged trash firing at you from across the screen then you will leap (hopefully on the close mob and then to the ranged ones).

Let me know if your bot isn't behaving like this. I haven't had much time to test it extensively yet so there might be issues.

What min pack size setting are you referring to? The leap minimum trash cluster variable is no longer used for anything you can ignore it.

Edit: I may actually reference that variable instead of hard coding the 3 mobs on screen bit so people can choose.

imo OOC leap behavior is horrible. often it just jumps on the same spot 3 times in a row. atm im using a tweaked older version of trinity with basically the same changes you made + warcry on cd. so if you have any time you could look into leap :)

I dont know maybe its my config or you have to tweak it But

sometimes when I see lets say 3 trash groups of 3 5 and 10 mobs on screen
its jumps 3 times on 1st group instead of using hota (no mater it have full rage)
Then it use hota 1-2 times on next group leaving them on half hp and waiting for leap refresh couple seconds instead of just hota finish them

Im just saying it should use hota more more often in my opinion and prioritatize leaving small groups for hota 4or less if have rage and leap big groups

I won't be updating this after the change to Earthen Might. Not many people will be using a spender any more, including myself.

can you explain? you not gona work on this mod anymore? why? pasive nerf is not big deal

would love to test it out having problems with leaping and HOTA, its not leaping all the time like i would like to, a lot of times it ends up doing normal damage to mobs not even uses HOTA :(.

i want it to be leaping all the time its up and using hota in between leaping times, guess this might work well.

thanks for sharing hope the update comes soon :D, or if someone could share the link for 1.9.4 i just cant find it :( the link i found its corrupt.

tips on what to do with leapquake now? since no spender mostly running round basic attacking mobs..

Any chance for an update for 1.9.6? :P

Any way to decrease leap range? The variable setting doesn't seem to work =/
