Windows 8 wow crash

Hey forum

I recently installed Windows 8, but when i try to bot i start up wow, log ind and can play around, everything is fine.
But when i start up honorbuddy, and it try to attach, wow crashes, around 3secs after the loggin.
I know your not supporting win8, but do anyone have a solution to this?

You installed Windows8 Preview Beta Buggy Unsupported Stuff

Needless to see: Not supported, no solutions available since no one's testing it. Doesn't work, won't work, forget about it.

UGH god, why would you install that crap, its not even at RC stages...

But im gonna go ahead and take a ***** at this since, nobody else wants to waste their time on this. And this is a waste of time but try doing this::

Right click on HB, then click COMPATIBILITY TAB(if it exists yet)
Click the box that says: RUN THIS PROGRAM IN COMPATIBILITY MODE FOR:
Then in the drop down menu choose windows xp SP3 or Windows 7
Click Apply then OK.
Then RIGHT CLICK on WoW and Run As Administrator
Then login
Then Right Click on HB and run that as administrator as well.

IF this doesn't work, please reinstall Windows 7 and let go of this "I have windows 8 early cuz im cool and l33t" complex. Its unstable, its not ready and its just a PREVIEW!!!
 
we dont support Win8 yet

but you can run Hb on Win8 using Hbrelog

Contrary to what's been said before, not running Windows 8 cause "I have windows 8 early cuz im cool and l33t". Mainly because after a bit of testing, it feels so much more responsive, and performance wise I just can't fault it. Now, some of you will find it strange, and yes, it does take a bit of getting used to.
Anyway, just wanted to say thanks, not only for pointing me to a very decent program, but also for telling me how to get HB working with windows 8. Your tip works like a charm.

From my experience, alot of drivers are out already for windows 8, I am thinking of giving it a try also but really want the RC to come out.
 
It's already been discussed on numerous website on the Internet that windows 8 will be the death of gaming as we know it.

I am actually using the Enterprise N RTM.
@Jvidia, as for the death of gaming, doubt it. Obviously you've been listening to too much Valve and Blizzard scaremonging.
 
I tried windows 8, worst experience in my life. It burned my soul and I had to wipe my hard drive after the first boot up. So incredibly inefficient and they really pushed my buttons with some of the changes. (Which may or may not be because of buttons they removed) I'm probably going to follow the "every other windows release is a piece of crap" thing and just wait.

And you got those who are just adverse to change:) I found it really easy to use and much faster than 7.
But hey, to each his own.
 
yes u can use Hb on Win 8 via Hbrelog
 
did u start on 8 wow? did u found drivers for 8
 
The other alternative is to use vmware workstation 9 with a windows 7 virtual machine. Working perfectly for me.

Also; where is it? In the factory and it'll be done when it's done.
