Windows 8.1?

is there any reason my BW should have issues running windows 8.1 bc it seems to be shady ever since i updated. it tries to loot and never does, pauses at that spot and continues to kill mobs but never continues profile and just runs all buggy...

It may run differently, have you tried running it in compatibility mode? I'm not sure if that would help but i'd try it.

I'm running BW on my Windows 8.1 Rig, and it runs exactly as it does on my Windows 8 and Windows 7 rigs, maybe it's some silly .NET stuff messing up.

hey serw, do u have an nvidia control panel? 1st time i installed 8.1 and ran SWTOR it tried running it in 3-D mode which bugged the graphics so I cut them off but graphically it still seems alil different than before i installed 8.1. Well, I use 331.40-desktop-win8-win7-winvista-64bit-international for driver, and did not tuch any settings if that's what you mean.

try a fresh install of BW and then let it update as needed.

BUT, I would first disable your antivirus before doing anything, then re-enable after you're all done.

Initially I too ran into problems with updates because my antivirus (Norton internet security) would immediately quarantine one or more items as it was copied/downloaded.

But seriously, if you ask me, the quality of those programs is not what it used to be...
Best is remove it and clean install everything...
