I just downloaded honorbuddy and everytime that I try to log in, windows 7 says that there is an error in loading honorbuddy and it is searching for a solution to the problem. Then after a few seconds, it says windows could not fix the problem and it closes out the program. I don't know what to do, but it is really frustrating me. Any help is welcome

Hi, Eagsam,

It looks like your Honorbuddy crashed, then you immediately tried to start it again.

When Honorbuddy exits ungracefully, it doesn't release its authentication credentials back to the Authentication server. It can take the server 2-3 minutes to notice this condition (Honorbuddy is no longer present), and release the credentials for re-use.

If you don't want to wait this long, then log into Home Page - Buddy Auth Portal, go to the "Sessions" tab, and explicitly terminate your now-dead session.

cheers,

remove:
- microsoft .net framework 4 client profile
- microsoft .net framework 4 extended
- microsoft visual c++ 2010 x86 redistributable

restart your pc,
download the installationwizard from here
run it as administrator.
after the wizard is done, run windows update. And install all updates for .net & c++
restart

also add an exception on your firewall and your antivirus for Hb

You do it through add/remove program in your control panel.
