Unfortunately, I did not see any postings that expressly advised HB users not to upgrade to Windows 10. Thus, I have a problem. I have upgraded to Win10, and HB doesn't work.

I am not a programmer; while I have some read/write skills, I can't debug HB because it doesn't like my operating system.

I updated all .NET drivers and did a fresh re-install, to no avail. I use TuanHA's CC, but I have not updated the CC because HB doesnt work.

If someone could provide guidance on how to remedy my problem, I am appreciative. Frankly, I think the HB team needs to figure out how to solve the conflicts quickly. Paying customers should not have to be penalized for keeping systems and software up to date...and right now...I can't use a service I have paid to use.

I upgraded to Windows 10 on release day, installed the bot and had no issues with it running. So it's hard to say what could be causing the problem. Just thought I'd share that it's working fine for me.
 
I have read quite a bit in the forums; many have no problems. I re-did a bunch of stuff...wondering if I need to do it again. HB stops working....it never fully loads at this point.

Honorbuddy is not advertised to run on Win10. You can find a list of supported operating system versions here:

Honorbuddy support of Windows 10 should happen within a year.
But as always, plans can change.
The Buddy Development staff does not give out ETAs.

Some have had success getting Buddy bots to run on Win10 by switching from DX12 to DX11. You may also need to remove the .NET runtime that ships with Win10, and install the 4.5.1 version that works correctly. (More on this in the next section.) Your mileage may vary. In any case, the Buddy staff cannot help you with this at this time.

Windows 10 has other very serious bugs at the moment with the .NET runtime that creates problems for Buddy bots (and other .NET-based applications):

If Windows 10 works for you, congratulations—"Works for me" is not a valid release critieria. Win 10 is most definitely NOT working for a large number of people (with respect to Buddy bots and other applications).

Now that its been released, the pressure will increase on Microsoft (as it should be) to fix the problems they've let into the wild. Hopefully, these issues will be repaired in a timely manner. It would be prudent to wait at least 90 days before considering a permanent shift to Windows 10.
