I apologize for another windows 10 post but I did use a search and found that each thread I poked at was about the technical release version and trying to get it to work with buddy products, not the consumer release.
Microsoft is sending out there "free upgrades to windows 10 is coming, heres what to watch for" emails and has this release date:
My question is if my main concern is functional buddy products, will the software be supported with the consumer release date. If not is there a rough idea of how long we should hold off updating for uninterrupted service?

When does Windows 10 release?
Windows 10 launches for consumer PCs and tablets on July 29th.
