Will Scepter Of Azj'Aqir Ever Drop

ok so i bought this bot to do archaeology to try and get my scepter of azj'aqir for those of you who don't know it creates the ultramarine qiraji battletank the reskinned black qiraji battletank. now ive been farming every day and every night for about 2 weeks total now, approximately 140 hours of farming, i have solved over 700 artifacts in tolvir, have every rare archaeology can offer besides this mount, now i don't know the drop rate on this and im really bad with rare drops i never get them, im not sure if i should just give up or keep farming. i only really want this mount because i missed out from hitting the drum to get the scepter of the shifting sands quest complete to give myself the black qiraji battle tank the only legendary mount in the game. but im just not sure this dang thing will ever drop for me. has anyone got a success story to share or has anyone given up on farming this mount.
 
It's pretty much up to RNG. I've gotten 3 so far on my different alts before they announced the account wide mounts. Could be worse, you could be grinding out archaeology by hand. :p
 
Its very random, yes I have used Archaeologybuddy and gotten the most rares including the mount you speak of. You just have to be patient is all.
 
I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, but with every othe rare than the troll sword, i got the scepter on about my 10'th tol'vir solve, purely random dumb luck i'm afraid,
PS, i still do arch for about 2 - 3 hours a day and have had all drops apart from the aforementioned troll sword for months now, i'm in the thousands of solves for troll artifacts, c'est la vie
 
RNG sucks, you gotta wait it out. I've gotten maybe 10 of them, one even before the toon was maxed out. Random numbers are random.
Don't give up!
 
if i dont get it after 2 more nights of farming, im going to give up
 
why would you do that, atleast turn the arch bot on when your not playing it
 
i'd spend 10 bucks for a SOR account and bot your mining and herbs and arch bot your main
 
Just got Zin'Rokh, no use for it whatsoever... Want that mount, at 170 solves atm
 
my friend rogue got it from 5 solve:) i myself got it on 3 chars, variates from 1 day to 2 weeks constant farming. so yes its very random
 
Took me 3 weeks on my mage and a little over a month on my warrior. I modestly ran HB 4 hrs a day 5x a week until I got it. I was originally trying to get vial pattern on the mage and got the bug mount instead. Don't give up. It is very RNG. I know one fellow who got it the first week he did archaeology and others who took a month.
 
^^ i'm trying to get the destroyer of words i think i got the scepter at around 70-100~ solves mind you i only got it on my first arch character never on the 2nd or the 3rd
 
what do u think would be the best? blacklist all the digsites except tol'vir or just let it farm everything on kalimdor? cause as far as I know tol'vir dig sites available randomly when u r done with another dig site. If I black list night elves, after a while there is only night elf dig sites available in the map and bot has to grind them anyway.

so really which one is best?

i do the following, blacklist everything except tolvir, use heathtomatic and archbuddystuck plugins, everytime if dig spawns in uldum, he goes there = best no matter what. But now the question, will be this mount ultramarine accound wide in MoP ?? IF yes, i would even suggest releveling archeo on my mage for much better portal travels
 
i got the scepter in 1 week without any of what you guys are talking about, i got all the other rares, my professor title, and all the pets/mounts. only missing zinrohk but i gave up on that i dont even need it.

Edit: not bragging just saying its random, nothing you can do about it.
 
When I farmed it, I blacklisted all digsites but tolvir, took about 150 solves to get it for me. Seen people with +700 solves and still no mount, all up to RNG nomsayin?
 
Ehh i get it on my first solve :) But the alch still not dropped, after 200 solves.
