Curious to know if I'll still have lifetime access to the bot. I've read that you are changing the set up for this.

we will no longer be selling Buddy Lifetime. We are moving to a keys system that enables you to buy for 1 day, one month or 1 year and you get a discount for taking more than 1 session.

A quote from Hawker.

I'm under the assumption my lifetime will continue to work - but I really hope you guys don't go that route where you basically pull a switch and bait and start adding new things that life timers wont get access to.

why would they add feature's current lifetimers wont have access too. the ONLY reason lifetime option is being taken down is "IF" key word there, blizzard wins and they get shutdown. as they dont want to keep offering a lifetime service, incase blizzard shuts them down next week (not going to happen, least not that fast) it was just the fair thing they could do.

To anwser the OP's question YES your LIFETIME will stay lifetime for the life of honorbuddy

The reason makes sense, but its also an easy way to sneak in the change to try and make more money.

Yeah, they could very much so be like, crap blizzards onto us lets remove lifetime and jack up the prices on other memberships make a quick load of $$$ before we are shutdown.

But Bossland, and his co-workers have always been kind (fair with refunds) honest, and here for the customer. i really doubt they have it in there hearts to do something like that.

mm no I dont think it was anything like that. I think HB is very confident they wont lose this court case; but its possible they want to use the court case to reformat their pricing structure to remove the lifetime option. Lifetime is good for a newer company that needs that extra boost, but in the end lifetime begins to cost you.

I really think you guys are missing the bigger picture here, Bossland and the HB staff are probably trying to cover the customer base, what would be the point of buying lifetime if they in fact *lord of all games forbid* they do lose this case? In addition German courts take a long time so if they are going to lose those case the best thing they could do is postpone it as long as possible and extend the amount of time people will be able to use this program, and in all reality lawyers cost money, moolah $$$. Ive yet to meet a cheap lawyer and a lawyer that is going to fight blizzard is seriously gonna cost some cash, so in no way shape or form do I think that they are trying to make a quick buck and ditch. The Buddy Forum has a huge reputation and in the long run new games will be coming out, if they were to loose this website and tried starting a new business on a new game then it would be a lot more work to build up a reputation on a completely new site, start fresh with coding, and try to start a new cashflow. *starting a new website and business is not easy* So in conclusion fuck blizzard I'm hungry and gonna go to bed and will always <3 this forum, Loose the case or win i wouldn't play wow honestly without HB. I really dont want to play a game for months just to get to a point where i can have fun, and HB does that for me in a week :) Night

the choice to remove lifetime is the only factor for whats going on with blizzard. it would be bad for someone to pay for lifetime and then tomorrow bossland gets shot because blizzard decided to just assassination him rather then lose in court, and that user feeling ripped off, because he didnt have lifetime that long before we had to shut down.

i didnt make up the pricing, but the options available now are there so people who are skeptical can buy the 1 month keys and the people who are confidant can get a 1 year key. not only that but the whole reason to transition to this new system is to make it easier for new people coming in, there shouldn't be 20 posts a day in the payments section because people couldn't figure out how to use their usernames or passwords. not only that but it now falls in line with how ryftomate works in terms of buying, and what our Chinese version has been doing since launch. people know what keys are, they know how to use them, and now it should be a lot less hassle for everyone.

now the people saying "its a cash grab". its not, for the new price your getting everything now, Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy, and everything unlocked so if you wanted to start using AB right off the bat you can, no need to get another flying key on top of the price you already paid. chances are you pay more for netflix or satellite radio in your car, or even your lunch for the week, when you think about it in terms of What i don't think about spending money on, then the one month price isn't that bad.
