Will i get banned in the next expansion?

Ok so I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong section but I have seen alot of people getting banned for differents thing and basically I want to start off by telling my story.

When catacylsym came out I had 3 accounts botting 24/7 using PIROX and I was never banned I farmed all day for months not days or little periods im talking 24/7 for a good 8 months made about 5 million or so gold and basically what I did was send me herbs to a bank alt and sell all the stuff. WILL I GET BANNED FOR THAT IN THE NEXT EXPANSION? I heard some people saying blizzard has been banning accounts for that, almost like there checking how much your mailing? I never sold gold nor do I care to I keep it within the game so if I am making like 30k or more a day like I was in cata will I GET BANNED THIS TIME AROUND? because I was always safe before but like I said I was keeping the gold in the game never selling it to people. I thought at one point I would for Abuse of the Economy but never got banned so I would like as many opinions or facts as possible let me know please
 
Even if you don't sell gold, if you send huge amounts of gold to other accounts, even with the same name, but especially with a different name, they will claim gold selling. They don't care if you transfer 1 billion gold from one char to another within your account, cuz if it's banned, you lose it all.

About expansion bans, never heard of that.
 
If you are going to bot 24/7 again or now you will get banned I would assume bliztard are looking at account logs for how long you play for ect or ever item transfers and gold be twin them and doing a auto ban..its getting stupid now I must say but if you did not make it noticeable then it should be all good
 
I got banned on my main account for sending a few K of gold at a time from my bank char which does all my auctioning to my main char.
So I guess I set off a trigger of some sort, I don't think I sent more than 20K of gold in a few days time either.

Never botted on this account, and they gave me back all my gold and items that I lost.

qq for guys selling gold / moving quantities cross account. Is it the selling ac or the recieving ac that gets banned or generally both? id like to move some around from my bot account to my main.

Yes this is what I currently do I have a guild which only has my characters in and they just take what they need when they need it in realtively small ammounts (< 5k). I never mail gold cross account and I never face to face cross account. I will just continue to do it in this fashion i suppose.

My question still stands though as with the stupidly low gold prices I am considering buying a load as its probably cheaper than the electricity needed to bot a similar ammount (with my setup at least)
 
dunno what setup you have, but i have 4 accs, 1 main i never bot on, and 2 with both a banker and a farmer on, i alternate between 8 hour shifts with the farmers everyday, and sell with the banker on the other acc, i use a guild with my characters as gm and officers, but i have about 200 other people in it too, most of them never log on, but it just makes it look all the more legit,
Finally i have an alt on my main acc, and if i need gold i use him to take it out of the gbank, and on my 4'th acc i sell gold, it gets banned every now and then, but the other 3 never do, i have used this setup for ages now

oh, ps, this gets me enough gold to pay for all my accs, replace the gold selling acc if it gets banned, and keeps my main in stupid ammounts of gold aswell as making a few quid on the side.

Incase I wasn't clear enough, this was on the same LEGIT account. ;o

well thats the thing when I moved it I didn't send it from my chars directly to my main

I have friends and guildies and I say hey take this 50-100K and then when I get on my main give it to me, NOW yes I know if blizzard really wanted to they could see it just went through another account but like I said I did that all the time and was never caught! Do they maybe pay more attention to stuff like that now?

Yeah that has what I have interpreted from reading numerous amount of ban reports. It seems as if they are checking account logs, mailing logs, time logs, and so on...... I am starting to wonder what is botting for anymore because yeah you can bot achievements and shit but people bot to make gold and farm and shit like that

LOL'd... automatic system checking for trading/mailing gold ignores cases where accounts in question are registered under the same name.

11 posts and I dont beleive you will get banned due to the fact bliz going to be up shit creek fixing bugs and exploits as soon as it comes out

I only bot about 8-10 hours a day on each account...but do it like this...2 hour farm log out for 1 hour log back in for 1 hour or so farm log out again for 1 hour and 30mins back on for another 3 hour farm while always checking up every 20mins in that 3 hours..I am paranoid about botting but still do it .. and with 12 hours a day at work its something i look forward to while at work. But also like people are saying the safest way is to get a G Bank and transfer gold in and out of there but taking into account only do small ones like 5k every 8 hours when taking out....I mean look at the AH for instance a high end epic is like 7k im sure bliz wont think 5k take out is alot.

can't bare to lose a virtual account, then don't play the game.
not with a bot anyways...
 
Its called keep it safe, that way I have something to come home too :) (apart from my wife) lol I play WoW without a bot aswell

- i am not in the need to ask for every bitchy thingy like others do, cause i am able to search and read the forum
- i am not making cry posts about "will i get banned" "what gives me gold" "what server is best" and other stupid stuffs (not sayin you do ofc)

you are registered here for 2 days, i could start the same childish behaviour now, and troll around like "you are only registered for 2 days, you have no clue, plz stop posting things you have no experience from" but i do not, because i do not know your background, neither do you know mine!

and the most important thing on my previous post is -> sarcasm!

all these cry posts just flood the forum for nothing but banging the general view!
the only way to handle them proper is -> sarcasm (ask dr. sheldon cooper for an explanaiton on sarcasm)
