Will Gatherbuddy most likely get you banned?

I keep reading people getting banned after using Gatherbuddy, mostly in Uldum.

If you dont bot for 10 hours straight, and if you try and avoid Uldum - are you more safe ?

I would love to start botting herbs and mining so i can earn some gold from my crafter toon - which have JC/Inscription. I would NOT overflow the AH with 300 herb and ores etc.

Are you sure Gatherbuddy is detectable?

Confused sad panda!

Uldum seems like a banzone atm but its never save to bot, even quests can give you a ban. Im sure that Gatherbuddy is Undetecable

If GatherBuddy would be detectable, all would get banned.

If you don't want to lose your account do not bot.

But avoiding Uldum and not botting for 24/7 and not overflow the AH with materials is a good idea. No one can give you a 100% security for not getting banned.

There's something that i don't understand... Why "ULDUM"? Why is the the most dangerous zone? I mean, the best place to gather ore is Twilight Highlands. Great elementium and pyrite spawn rate. Hyjal is the best for Obsidium. The only reason to go to ULDUM is to gather whiptail, which i'm buying for the time being. (I mean, it's WAY FASTER for me to gather ore, sell it, and buy the herbs I need).
So... Why is this happening? Why is everybody talking about ULDUM??? It makes no sense to me...

People go to Uldum to join the bot train to Bansville. Personally I farm Twilight Highlands some, and Hyjal now and again for obsidium. The prices of Cata ores on my server are plummeting. I really find, at least on my server, that the Outland and Northrend ores sell for as much, or more, and I never see anyone farming them when I'm out and about, and there's not as much competition on the AH. There seems to be a fairly good market, too, these days for various old world ores and herbs. But if I just fly to Uldum to look around, I see the bot train more often than not. I stay far, far away.

I noticed on Saturday some clown posted mega stacks of various ores and herbs on the AH, all undercutting the usual prices by quite a bit. His auctions were up all day Saturday but by Sunday morning they were gone. All of them. I can only assume he was gone, too. On a Blizzard vacation. Unless someone bought all of them, which I doubt. I mean this guy flooded the AH which had to put a huge target on his back.

Following Treuben's advice above is a good first step. Don't get greedy and use some common sense. Nothing is guaranteed but there are people who have been botting for a long, long time without any bans.

any time you cheat in any game you take the risk of being ban, but the bot is as save as it can possible be imo.
But no risk no gain :D
i try to stay away from uldum
use HB relog keep it safer,
