Will Demonbuddy be Reworked in 2.2?

There is going to be alot of changes coming into the next patch of diablo. Will there be new features, and gui for Demonbuddy in the future patch?
 
A new GUI? Does that mean a simplified way to modify controls? A means of making sense of loot rules. Combat routing adjustments comprehensible by humans with an I.Q. of less than 170?

Would there be any way to 1)add a Diablo 3 logger and 2)an auto relogger to db cause basically if you have some connection issue (lag or sos connection) you cannot afk at all...

What tony is saying is, don't expect anything new, apart from what is required to have the program to run properly.

A built in re logger, with added protection. I.E - don't continue to log in if servers are down. YAR should be not required.

A built in scheduler, for those who do believe in breaks will hinder the chance of being banned.

I am sure many others have ideas, but it is worth noting that many won't be required or will only benefit a small amount of players.

Although YAR is required and I'm fine with that, it has a scheduler. I think focus more on combat since it is the most important part. Better combat only leads to faster runs which means more loot, less deaths and we all know less deaths cause less problems. Just my two cents.

Legendary filtering more in depth. For example: if it does not have a legendary affix, salvage; if it is or is not part of a set item, salvage. The ability to make loot rules also include if a gift was used on it. Let's say you're looking for a legendary item with a legendary affix, 4 primary affixes, 2 of which must be mainstat, CHC, CHD, IAS or vitality then the bot will keep these. Some sort of fool-proof way to adjust which legendary are kept by just a few weights to start. Another good idea is if the helmet, chest, and torso have a socket, but you could miss a lot of good stuff, but if there an option say an item had enough of the affixes mentioned before it would still be kept to incorporate the fact you're going to enchant that item most likely.
 
I suggest you download a few custom loot rules provided in the plugin section, and take a long hard look through the text files, and through the help guides.. many people run some class specific loot rules, some run with ancients with only above certain stats, and some people run with jewelery with 2 crits, and main stat.

Yeah when I first got back into DB I checked, I should look again now that characters are geared and getting way more items I don't use then do. Probably has most of what I mentioned already covered.
 
I think i mostly was thinking of Trinity, I know Demonbuddy will continue doing what its doing, But alot of Classes and item sets are going to be reworked in 2.2 so i guess this would be more of a question for rixx. Thank you Tonyx for replying!

a relogger would be awesome, been having a ton of issues on the EU side with overloaded servers.
 
there are reloggers,just search for them :p
 
Option to logout when stahs is full would be nice in future versions of DB...

We have option to logout when inventory is full (dumbest idea ever imho) but to log out when bot fills up the stash - nope, not coming, not evn single comment from you guys about it. And I have been asking about this feature many times in many threads...
 
Character switching for blood shard spending would be handy. Not 100% if that currently exists via a plugin.

Let me try to explain my wishes about future development, keep in mind i am not a programmer and only understand the basics so some requests will not be doable.

Would love to see specific plugins (blood shard spender, relogger, trinity, questtools, profiles, loot rules) all "glued" together. Now there are problems that if u use one plugin you need to change something in another and so on to make it all work as a whole not like many separate ones.
Let me try to explain this: if i want to farm act1 bounties there is no profile to do this without me changing some things in the code, now i am using a custom fork for my dh but hey it doesn't work on my other chars or even on the same one if i want to zerg smth down hence i need to keep 2-3 different DB's on my computer to switch them. Loot rules could be made more easier to modify(maybe even a graphical menu where we will manually set the desired stats of items we want)
Next thing is i would really really like to see a trinity working for all classes, now only lke 2 most played ones get's updated and the community does a lot of mod's to make it even better but some others are just left behind in a bad state that wasn't fixed for month's.

All in all would like to see all the necessary thing be in a bundeled pack that will be updated.
 
how about some documentation? (yes all programmers hate documentation) there *is* Trinity and some Relogger Code, but I can't find specifics on anything like command line options or hints which functions may only be called at certain times. or which DB hooks exists and when they are called.
