Why this forum isnt private or subscribers only?

Ok i allready hear common answer from admins : " we have nothing to hide"....

YOU may have nothing to hide but come on let's be realistic its a botting forum and what the community create ( profiles...) is a great source of informations for blizz or any kind of players.

Here on reddit people just laught at us because we get banned and just give our forum links... i dont really care but still that brings jealousy, imagine a common player seeing that we can make over 700 GpH some will do anything to be that good guy and report exactly how we do it. I know making it private won't protect us 100% but that filter the biggest part tho...

If they required a subscription, Blizzard would just pay to get in. It's a multimillion dollar company, after all.

As far as random people talking about it... I kind of agree about the randoms. Most people wouldn't pay just to see our business.
 
If there was such a thing I would have to guess it would be for contributors only; using your logic what right do you have to look at the profiles and plugins others worked hard to create???

Well the right that i paid for this product? I mean i know it won't block blizz or any professional " inspector" but less people sees it less jealousy we bring on us...

of course not, but from a business point of view most traffic directed here is a plus and will generate sales.

getting caught has little to do with what blizzard knows and more to do with doing stupid things hiding will do nothing for you. Sites like ownedcore simply use private section to create revenue DB does that v.i.a. sales. I guess they could go the subscription route, but I am glad they are not trying to bend me over and....

also private forums prevent new users from researching and may cause loss of sales

also it make it look like we are scared of blizzard. I am not scared of blizzard and already know if they wanted to find me they could and they could potentially sue me for the next to nothing I have OMG

If you guys had a clue, you would understand private or not, it will not change anything. Blizzard doesn't need to go to 3rd party sites or pay for them. They have enough dick suckers that warship them that freely pay to sites like these and report anything they can.

Reddit who cares?


NOTHING DONE HERE IS A SECRET with or without privatization.
 
not good for legal reasons, basically it's telling everyone we have something to hide... it's better open and transparent

You actually paid for a service, the use of the bot. (at least how I look at it)

That aside, you do realize buying a product then demanding the way they did business because you do not want more people seeing the said product, is sorta hypocritical? You just want to keep the cool toys to yourself and make money off it while others are stuck doing it by hand hour after hour after hour.

As far as ppl are like 'oh but the profiles!' etc etc...

The code is already in all of my profiles - you add modifications and bam, awesome farming profile :|

I understand that and NO i dont wanna keep the toys for myself. This is passive advertisement, DB really need this kind of avert? And my only point here would be to protect us a little bit more over company rentability, happy customers ( protected customers not banned etc ) can also be a very good pasive advertisement...

Yes Kick but first everyone is not a computer wizz, modifying profile for MOST of the users ( like me) is out of my game. Secondly, do you really think any "common" player/ internet user could break the security of a private forum (client only) ? i dont think so... And as i said i still think the less we have the light on us the less WE "clients" get the chance to get caught...

If you don't stop playing the game and go learn how to read, then come back and mod a profile to work for you.

I give a fuck about your country or grammar. If you at least made it halfway through High School or the what ever you have in Europe, you should have enough mental ability to sit down and teach yourself... IF you were not a lazy person.

lets be honest. blizzard will pay the money for a forum account if its private. it accomplishes nothing.
