Why SoRs are being banned so quickly?

I purchased a few SoR accounts before and noticed some of the ones that got banned were banned before I even had a chance to bot on them. Then comes the email from blizz saying i'm banned for selling gold or blah blah. I'm starting to think that these SoR accounts that I purchased from these "reputable" sellers have used them as gold mules before actually selling them to others.. I could be wrong but what makes me think this is cause the person I purchased my SoR accounts from some of them already had a password that was set to their name already, strange. Anyways.. I've just beeing seeing alot of SoR bans lately and most of them are for expoiting gold selling or whatever. :(

Yea. Don't buy SoR accounts. If you get an account make sure from the seller it wasn't SoR and they have had it at least 3 weeks before you buy from them or 9 times out of 10 it was sold to them as a cheap gold selling account. If you looking for real accounts I would suggest just getting the keys from someone for cheap. Best time to do this is after black Fridays in the US when they stock up on cheap keys. And you can get them for really cheap. Or if you live in the US, then stock up on black Friday at game stop.

well all my accounts is sor non of them got ban till know bought them about 3 months ago why should know the guy you buying from Crespo on skype he is the best all the accounts he sells is 100% clean

People are getting banned due to the fact that SoR Accounts are now getting looked into, because people are doing some thing with bnet mount's being able to be cross WoW accounts

How can they possibly be using SoR accounts for gold mules? SoR accounts CAN NOT have been active after March 4th, so if they were going to be banned for this, it would have already happened.

I've bought many SoRs and 0 have been banned. It was my legit accounts that got banned first :D

I've purchased SoR accounts and they have all been banned within 1 day. I have purchased all my SoR accounts from high +rep power users on all of the popular sites. Do not purchase SoR accounts. It's very simple. You attach the account to your bnet, the name does not match, you are banned.

never had a SOR banned. Ever.... sold many of them, use many of them, many are inactive, many are botting 24/7. You all are doing something terribly wrong if they are "All" banned. I suspect people overstating their positions to make dramatic points on a message board......

This is not true at all. Don't create too many accounts from 1 IP (MAX 4 or so)

Yes you can do that or just create 1 Bnet for 1 SoR with 1 IP and use a V P N along with VMWARE :) Play like a human and it wont get banned

I got 2x SoR accounts going strong. What is these ban thing you talk about when merged into another name than the original one?

Anyone buying SORs should have literally no qualms about buying gametime/RAF from 'chinese'. You know what I mean. They are so cheap and abundant you should be prepared for this eventuality anyways. Have so many accounts and gold spread out with a direct chain of supply and sale via accounts that losing one doesn't really mater..... if your not botting on this scale I don't see the benefits of even bothering using SORs when wow accounts bought legit can be purchased for relatively 'cheap as dirt' very frequently.

EDIT: also, you can just put them all in your name.... you'll just have 30 accounts with your name on them.

I recently bought 10 SoRs and have merged every single one of them now. I just drove around in my car with my laptop and picked up hotspots for like an hour. But as a previous poster said, it would be even better to go ahead and use VMWare and make it assign you a random MAC address for every activation, and then tunnel through a V~~P~~N. I would make sure your V~~P~~N is giving you a USA IP.

As a note, use a V~~P~~N to do the website work (merging accounts, claiming benefits, etc). After that I wouldn't worry about it, since I think technically all the "suspicious" activity is over. Now just log in and play. Of course having 10 bots running from 1 IP is going to be bad if my accounts get looked at, since that then connects them (they have random names/emails, so no connection thus far) but then again, you can't always win. I can't run 10 VMwares from my computer plus wow and HB, so I will go with what I can.

Overall, make sure to not activate any more than 2 imho on 1 IP in any given time really. I wouldn't even do more than 1 personally. Just pick a new server for your V~~P~~N and wala, only thing that is the same is your MAC, and I doubt they check MAC's before checking IPs. Correct me if I am wrong.

One thing I used to do a few years ago was running multiple bots on machines at a shop that I was working at. Back in the early days of EQ there were a ton of Pay by Hour Internet Shops. I would just set up a VM and when ever it came into question I just let them know that I didn't have internet at home and I played at this CyberCafe. This was the way to get around having 6+ different names and 1 IP address.

Something to think about.

I just had 4 SoR banned on 2 different BNet accounts. I called and they implemented a scanning of the original owner name and cross reference the name on the battle.net account. If they don't match they get banned.

Just sharing my SoR story
like 1 week before new scroll of resurrection got out and ofc sor accounts i got my acc banned (main account not sor), after that i rly needed a new wow account to be my main and i had almost no money then + my guild needed me for progress, then i bought 1 sor account made fast lvl 85, my guild boosted me and in 1 week i was ready for progress, everything was good i had one of the best geared chars on my realm, but 1 month ago my account got locked beause names did not matched, soo i lost almost 8 months of work, achievements, rare mounts, gear. soo don't use a sor account as your main :P
