Why no Ban Section anywhere? Has anyone got banned yet for fate grinding to level?

There is no ban section cause there i latterly never any bans on FFXIV bot I've Fate Grinded 3 sub classes to 60 now doing 20hr runs with 4hr log out time

Not true at all. Because of the lack of randomness with RB, there are quite a few people getting hit with the ban hammer for botting. This is a case of "dont be stupid while botting" mixed in with no options in RB to randomize your movements. RB literally walks every bot in a conga line, exact same timing etc, while fate botting. Now that everyone has to level up all classes again, people get jealous / mad / whatever and report bots non stop in high traffic areas.

I dont blame them for reporting, they are bored out of their minds doing the same fates over and over in old zones while we afk level, but thats an issue with how SE designed leveling for the expansion.

This is why I don't use the fate bot at all. If there was a way to include some randomness into the pathing or randomly take a 3-4 minute break. but because so many people are in northern thanalan doing fate lvling. The Bot conga line is a just a bad idea.
 
There used to be like no bans (except for game exploits [which SE hates] or things like speed or teleport hacking which are detectable on their end), but this was before Heavensward and before all the people from WoW came over due to the HB bans.

It seems they are taking it like 10% more serious now, lol. No big deal. However, don't be blatant about it if you care about your account at all. Others will say things like "I bot for 24 hours a day straight" and thats.... good for them, but lets be realistic - you know? There is always a risk when botting.

I botted every single class from 1-50 using the fate bot over the course of 2 months, pre-HW. No problem, and it seemed rare that I would see other bots. But these conga-lines in N.Than now make it pretty obvious... so don't be a derp and you'll be fine!
 
Quite afew people have been banned lately, as Unknown Buddy said, its due to Reborn not having random movement. If a group of people are doing the exact same thing, at somewhat the exact same time the chances are your a bot, and your going to be reported for it. I still fatebot (Not with reborn) but you cant really afk all that much, Id suggest watching it every few minutes.

setup timers or % to move to the next fate so it moves after every other bot has gone and Change your Waiting position, so your not clumped together. If you've set it move by % of fate, and you always go back to town far a way from the other bots, Your less likely to be seen as one of them.

Wasn't aware you could set it to % to move to the next fate.

You can only set Rebornbuddy to stall for bosses. Im sure someone can make a plugin though. But aye my mistake.
 
There can be a lot of factors you know. Not just the bot. Could be hunters out there or worse, your own FC members are getting jealous of your 60s. Bot smart. Your FC members might be chatting with you for days and not get a single reply.

I've known other botters to do the reporting. Especially in this case where they can tell you're moving just like they are and they know you're using it 100%.

Which is stupid and petty. And i hope those botters get permabanned for being little bitches. :)
 
Just got banned this morning while FATE farming on Northern Thanalan, so be careful. A friend went to the zone a bit after and it was deserted, so Im guessing I was not the only one banned.

No more Bots for me Im afraid :)
 
For people who bot in northern thanalan... just no.. stop botting in that zone period. thats the most populated zone, seeing as people fate grind already from 30 there because it takes a day from 30 > 50+, there's a reason why people form fate parties there.

As people have suggested: Start being somewhat smart how you do it, so what if another zone is slightly slower while lvling.

Not a single time i've been hit with the banhammer eventho i leave it on for 20hours straight without being there most of the time.

Been using RB for months.
