Being able to define a path to walk has been requested enough in one form or another that I'd like to ask why the bot does not spin stops or catch pokemon when manually walking to a stop? Is there a technical reason or a any bot detection reason for the lack of functionality?
For example, something that just happened. I spotted a lured stop on the map and click to "walk to pokestop".. along the way the bot passed by 30 pokestops and a number of pokemon, one of them was a rare pokemon. Clicking catch pokemon did nothing but enqueue the action. Pausing the bot did nothing as it stated it would not pause till the current enqueued action was complete. I ended up stopping the bot and restarting and the pokemon was gone.
So I'm curious, why not have the option to spin and catch along the way if optionally selected. At minimum, making catching rare pokemon a priority over any other enqueued action.
