Why is the pathing so incredible dumb at some times?

Hi, I'm sorry if this kind of thread has already been made. I searched but found nothing.

Moving on, why does it seem like the bot at some times loves trees or other obstacles?
I have made a picture for you to explain further:



As you can see on the picture, the bot could easily without any concerns(green line)... BUT Instead, the bot says "Fuck that, I'm going this way!" and take's the longest path he currently could find (Black line, around a nearby tree or obstacle).

Why does this happen? I've seen this many, many, MANY times recently.

I have seen this in a few different places also and will look into it more. As you are not the only one seeing it just randomly turn and take a weird path even though it can go direct. If you can get me a hotspot of the spot you are referring too will help debug it more.

The only place I can remember right now is in Razor Hill, when leveling a rogue with Kicks profiles the character walks AROUND the whole house before it goes inside. Try running his latest "[H - Quest] 5-12 Durotar" profile and see when the bot goes to learn new stuff.
