Why does HB use my ground mount instead of using the flying mount to get around?

I selected in the drop down menu to use my Tawny Flying Mount as the flying mount and then my Death Charger for ground mount...

but it prioritizes using the ground mount over flying....when flying would be faster travel....

and yes I have the ability to fly in the zone that I am using the 1-100 HB questing pack in.

ground mounts are for moving on the ground, flying mounts are for flying. its not possible to use a flying mount to run around on the ground.

my flying mount runs as fast as my ground mount though - 100%
