Why do we have to select our character spec when honorbuddy already knows?

But why? HB has the ability to see what spec you are. It should auto set that setting.

When growing toons from Level 1, there is no way for HB to 'guess' what spec you want. By declaring the spec, Honorbuddy will apply the best talents for that spec to that toon, when the toon becomes eligible for a new talent. This accommodates the significant percentage of how Honorbuddy is used.

The feature also acts as a reminder to users that have loaded the wrong toon--which happens more frequently than one would think. Especially if you play on multiple servers or have 8 DKs on the account (yes, some people do that).

If you are mucking around with changing your spec, its trivial to do a couple of more mouse clicks and declare your intent to Honorbuddy by altering its settings.

This is how Honorbuddy is designed (on purpose), and we will not consider changing it.
