Why do people play ranked instead of "casual"?

The rewards are not the same. You get a golden hero portrait after 500 ranked wins with that hero. The enemies are tougher, but it's worth it in the end.
And what are you talking about manually conceding? All the decks I've used in rank never have more than a 50% win rate. My champ stays around level 20-18. Sometimes it will go on 5-10 winning streaks, sometimes 5-10 losing streaks. But I always hover around 35-50% win rates.

And you cant forget that casual has a 100g cap a day for farming gold, after that your just botting for nothing, unless u dont have ur 1000 wins already

I usually hang around rank 14, going up to rank 12 every once in a while (lucky streaks). I've managed it with Warrior, Hunter, and Paladin so far. All using Murloc decks (with some Legendaries thrown in). Win rates hover around 50% to 47%.

Manual conceding IS technically more efficient (doing the math, it permits you 1 extra win per hour on average, so 24 more wins per day). It's not really worth it IMO though (and would make the bot much more identifiable).

Yes, 100 for ranked aswell. But After those 100g you still continue to get wins that count towards your 1000 win quest, and your 500 winn gold portrait per class (which is ranked play only)

No you can only get 100 gold a day from 30 wins either from ranked or casual. It's better to play ranked so you can eventually get a gold hero.
