First of all, WHEW!, I'm not getting banned... This isn't a complaint, but more of a 'what is it that I'm doing that is different from those who are banned'.

With all these banning reports, I'm thinking to myself:
Why am I not getting banned?

Most of these reports are from people using HonorBuddy, which I don't use at all. However, there are still a few who get banned by using *ONLY* GatherBuddy (and most of those are 'exploiting the economy' bans).

I use GatherBuddy on one character ~20hours/day, post everything on AH (same account, bank alt), and make about ~3kg everytime my bags are full (about 3 times a day). That also means I post ~100 auctions 3 times a day, on one bank character (used to use 3 different bank alts to simulate undercutting one another (all on the same account), but got lazy the past couple months; used to also be far more conservative about my botting, only botting overnight >.>).

Been doing this making ~3-9kg/day for the past several months... I'm not *selling* the gold, and only keeping it for myself. Maybe that's the key point why I'm not getting banned...?

There are people that are far more careful than me that are getting banned left and right (i.e. vendor saronite bars, get private buyers, use mule accounts to transfer, etc.); I just can't figure out why I'm not getting banned...

are you from eu or us ?

United States. I suppose it's because ActiVision bought out Blizzard? They want $$$ (monthly subscription), and aren't going for the little guys who are botting for gold, and not for money (i.e. selling gold)? Hah >.>.

Well I'm sure that they are waiting till Cata comes out and then ban all the players that were saving up gold by botting.

Also can i ask what profiles you run? Herb or Mining or Both?

Because you are a friend of Tony
its something like immunity

The answer is simple:

He does not transfer gold to another account , thus he cannot be suspected of selling his gold.

Same with me I am using HB 24/7 selling everything on AH most days I have 300 auctions up not a ban or supension or anything and i say it is because HB great protection and no player reports

lolwut? y would this matter at all....

You might be banned soon enough.
There is a formula for a ban.

When the number of hours botted tends to infinity, the probability of a ban tends to 1.

It's just a matter of time. The same way, when the amount of money spent in a casino tends to infinity, the probability of zero monetary value tends to 1. Mathematically proven.

Wait....activision bought blizzard? since when?
