Whos botting 24/7?

Just wondering, after the ban wave last year lost about 5 accounts. Now I'm up and running botting 20 hours a day. Anybody else doing this?
 
You might be the ONLY person bottting 20 hours a day... im botting 24/7 lol no point not to i have not heard of ONE person being banned since ROS came out.
 
And besides 20 hours a day is clearly botting lol so you would of known already if you were goin to be banned.
 
no one is botting 24/7 because buddyteam can't get their fucking servers to work. invalid session, here we go! happens all the time, every few hours. so can't really leave your bot alone.

I get plenty of 24 hour sessions. I do have trouble with log out and shut down from time to time but then it goes away. Some profiles and versions of DB are worse than others but I have 3 accounts geared to the teeth for t6 from DB..... That's what's up
 
I lost 9 accounts there about 2 weeks back, just got the one going atm. Yes 24/7, always.

YAR apparently can handle relogging DB. I use an autohotkey script myself, but yeah the auth dropping does suck.

The emails said for botting. I have a few guesses (and guesses are all they are) as to why:

- All 9 ran in parties of 4 (I would swap one out from time to time to farm other items) on the same PC and under the same account info and in the same guild, so they were all very tightly associated. Bliz possibly picked up on them all due to 24/7 parties and/or being on the same pc (I have other accounts in my name that are still fine).

- An interested buyer who had seen the armory of some accounts reported them for botting to bliz (unavoidable really).

- I played in a few pug games to try out some new gear and some pugger reported one, tho I'm sure I blocked communication with all recent players on all the bots lists.


I must have over 20 accounts all in my name in the ban bucket now. You'd think bliz maybe has me on a list to watch or some such thing, but again I have many other accounts in my name that are unbanned. My previous ban was around this time last summer as well, 12 bots all running solo on the same pc. My best guess is: high amounts of bots on one computer 24/7 sets off some flags.
 
Personally, I bot 1 hero only 5 to 6 hours /day. Even then I break up those 6 hours into 2 hour sessions. Even being this cautious, I'm still nervous of getting banned.

Botting 24/7, or when the auth server doesn't drop crashing my game and/or sticking my toon at character select :(.

So far spamming T2 Bounties in Act4 I've collected around ~500ish Marq Gems of each variety, and i've opened more than 200 Caches in the past week :).

24/7. The bot is like a pet to me now. So much fun to watch it go from time to time, modifying the setup/profiles, than actually playing the game.

This, botting is much more fun than playing. Knowing you'll wake up with a bunch of presents. Christmas everyday!
