Who here uses Instancebuddy?

I just started using it and even though it's done some weird sh#t (Like jumping off on the nexus to its death then trying to run thorugh uncleared areas to get to the tank) no one has ever (while I was watching) said anything about it. Most of them just called me a noob and kicked me when it messed up.

TBH before I used honorbuddy I would never have expected to run into a bot in an instance, for many players this concept would be unimaginable. Most players still think bots are limited to farming herbs/mining/honor imo.

I use it in LFR DS. I the only fights you actually have to do anything on is the first boss, hagarra, and madness. It doesn't work on madness though.. the first boss you just have LOS the slime stuff on the ground. hagarra it actually sometimes surprisingly will not die from the frost spikes. Pretty useful though if you want to use more than 1 account. Play one, instancebuddy the other.. more chance at gear.

That does not mean that it will be out in 3 days, it is still being worked on. The estimated time for dungeonbuddy is end of May and that is only an estimate also. The team is doing their best with dungeonbuddy. The date for that specific one was also moved to the end of may release.

Unfortunately it will not be released on the 27th, the things that were posted for the end of april where for us developers so we can work on other aspects of dungeonbuddy. Not so the community can access it. Dungeonbuddy is scheduled for the end of may as an estimate still and based on current progress it is a very real goal. But if you are expecting it for the 27th then you are mistaken. More devs have joined the development of dungeonbuddy which should make it faster, also scripting of all the actual dungeons is now under way so it will be soon. The team will keep everyone informed of it and its development. Also I am very aware to what the site says because I have full access to it.

I'm glad its coming out, but I do find it frustrating that we're going to see a working dugeon bot for this expansion right before the next one comes out. That's a little slow for a paid product.

Instancebuddy was out at the time and there was also many more things that needed to be focused on such as BGBuddy which the community said was a much higher priority. Dungeonbuddy is being made for pandaria but it will be released in cata. So just because a new expansion is coming out doesnt mean it will be obsolete. The release next month will only support leveling from 1 - 85, then cata heroics will be added which require a lot of logic by themselves. Then the LFR system will be implemented to get ready for panda. There is a lot being added to instancebuddy and major development is underway. We just finished adding basic support for 5 man teams where HB controls all of them. At this time you could level 5 people from 1 - 85 without ever leaving a dungeon, the bot is getting close but there is still a lot to add to it.

Fair enough, its not a big deal, just would be "nice". I have zero regrets about using HB and the quality of the devs and community.
