How can anyone possibly know? My guess would be Option 1 but you don't even say which class (assuming Barb but could be Monk).

right now, neither, bot cannot farm random dungeons so it would be option 3

I like your question because it brings up a great Option 3. Any way we can put in a request for profile AND gear swap? Would be nice to be able to swap profiles with static gear sets. I vote for Option 3

Nah Option 4 is the only way to go. It's kinda obvious.

Whichever one does their run faster and is more efficient at it (never dying). Why do a run where you die so often and get a couple of rares... where you can do a run where you NEVER die and you can get alot of rares but a lower chance of getting good items.

Efficiency is key. At least in my opinion. Maybe randomize and do both? : ) Make a second character buehuehue

I am going to guess the first option just because you will cruise through act 1 with the champ running profile in 15-20 min per game. Really though you should be able to find a middle ground to be able to do act 2 and possibly be more efficient.

In my honest opinion; option 2 (full time). I'll be releasing a plugin to MF swap on elites, but you'll find running pure DPS/survive better than trying to gimp your stats for MF. (Unless your gear is incredible)

MF doesn't affect iLVL
Act3 iLvl 63: 16.3% chance
Act2 iLvl 63: 9.3% chance
Act1 iLvl 63: 4.8% chance

Now lets say the chance for a 6prop item is 10%
So 250mf act1 will be 1.68% chance to get an iLvl 63 with 6props
0mf act 3 will be 1.68% chance to get an iLvl 63 with 6props.

Basically its or running act 1 with high dps gear and ~250mf (that way many champs per hour = more drops), or you go act 3
