Which CC for RetPala - short test

Hallo,
I have tested DPS with my Pala on TrainingDummy for 3min. each CC. It can't be represantive, but here the results you decide which CC you shoud use:

Myself: 7500 DPS --I have no expirience with RetPala
1. FellMaster: 7100 DPS
2. EzRet - Simple PVP CC: 6400 DPS
3. Singular: 5900 DPS
4. iBot.iPaladin Ret/Prot Paladin CC: 5600 DPS
5. Fpsware Paladin (I couldn't test it for 3 min, becose it detects, that the dummy don't lost the life and ignore after ~1min.): ~5300 DPS
6. Doctrine RetRaider CC: 4400 DPS

May be somebody posts here own tests.

Uh....your gear is...odd you have some tank items with a spell power ring? With that being said you're DPS #s are off. And what it looks like you're not even enchanted or gemmed...
 
CC will perform differently among them on a right geared character that on a badly geared (meaning geared with WRONG item like tank item or spell power item) so your test are quite meaningless..

It's no matter which gear I have. I tested the CC's with the SAME gear on SAME doll. I woul like show you a different between represent CC's. And YES, I play TankPala.
 
I'll run it with my ret pally tomorrow... I can't guarantee that you'll like my gear (although I do think that almost all of it is dps gear and about ilvl 345). I think the best thing would be for a bunch of us to post what we get, along with our setups so ppl can see how each profile works with different toons... and I think that an overall leader would stand out - of course, this will only show which one is best against a single test dummy, which is not normally what I'm looking to kill. lol
 
Instead it DO matter.
I'll try to give an example of it.
Let's say your retribution paladin is geared like a Healer, all spell power gear, no strenght, ok?
Now let's take a CC that do a perfect raid rotation with CS TV everything in the right place, will be CC#1
And tale a CC that only spam Consacration and Exorcism, will be CC#2.
On your spell power geared paladin whitch one of the two CCs would perform better?
CC#2 couse exorcism and consacration get bonus from spell power, CS TV don't.
But if your toon was properly geared then CC#1 would win (easily)
See my point?

@Gildroy,
True, a properly geared RetPally could perform differently with different CCs, or make CCs perform differently. That's why I'm suggesting that several of us all post our own results along with a link to our setup. I would venture that not everyone's RetPally is optimally setup, so we people could look over pallys that are setup similar to their own.
 
Well, may be you are right. Can you make a similar test with properly geared pala?
 
All tests are done in a 1 minute-span on singletarget dummy in orgrimmar with my gfs 358ilvl retribution-paladin.

Singular:Starts strong and bursts up to 17k and then after 1 minute is ~10k
Felmaster:Opens at 7-8k and ends at 14k stable
Doctrine:Same as Felmaster but ends at 13k
iBot iPaladin: begins with 6k ends with 11.6k
Fpsware Paladin: Combat got bugged after less than 30seconds so I wont bother posting its results.
PQrotation (bot from ownedcore used with a paladin default profile) : starts at 13-15k and ends at 15k


Armory: WoW Armory Alternative - Nameless Armory Profiles.
Also, its weird neither enchants or gems show up in that anonymous profile, because it is properly gemmed and enchanted except a few missing like head and shoulders.
 
I'm resurrecting this thread to warn you that UPaHCCBT has now Retribution Support (LazyRaider only, no movement included) if you want add her in your comparison
Since is a little slow to ramp up the dps (is thinked on a boss fight, single target) let her run for about 7 min to get a decent result :)
