Where is my key attached to?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a lifetime key for honorbuddy and used the key via the input field at the startup...so far so good.

However when I want to attach certain profiles from the store it says, that this is not possible, since the profile has no valid key attached to it.

I then discovered, that the forum account has nothing to do with the buddy auth account, which at that point I had not created yet.

So now I created one (a buddyauth account), however when I try to attach the key I purchased it tells me "key already claimed".

My question is now: what can the account be that this key is attached to? As far as I gathered, you need a buddyauth account and a valid key to make purchases (even free ones) from the store.

Any help is much appreaciated!

You only need a Buddy Auth account to obtain Buddy Store offerings. This article should answer all your questions:
