You said you farmed a lot of gold.
Trading a lot of gold will get your account flagged if you do it all in one go.
Also, search online for places nobody is going to tell you their buyers because it will mean prices drop for them.

I don't sell gold, I waste it on gear/anything else I want in game.
So far 1.4mill has gone right back into my servers economy.
But look on google. If they ask for acct details, or anything else to identify you then tell them to screw off, and don't sign up on their site with the same email as your battle.net or any other personal email. Make a new one to use.
