When to give up farming elementium?

hi guys this is my situation id like your thoughts.
ok if i want to farm elementium i would have to comepte with about 30 botters at a time in uldum on my server.
so it takes absolutely ages to get a good amount.
and because people are using profile made from othe rpeople there are trains of them it looks so dodgy.
i have made my own profile just to not look so botty but is there a time when you have to say enough is enough

If theres so many botters at a time in Uldum, why arent you farming Elementium in Twilight Highlands instead?

its exactley the same in twilight highlands :-( its ok its kinda a challenge to find other avenues of making gold

Play on a less populated server. Or find a way to beat them. The profile I use gets my bags full in about 5 hours. And I play on one of the most populated server on US.

Yea, but the real point is. and i think thats where he's going with this. there's going to be another person/botter thats going to report you sooner or later.

Farm other matts, set your bot in uldum at off peak times, I farm mats from classic right through to cata. At the end of the day elementium is for prospecting red gems really. I found farming low level herbs and making glyphs works quite well as low level mats are largely ignored by most lvl 85s. Just my 2c

If they farm too much, this means they sell a lot. If they sell a lot, this means the guy who is buying the ore, makes more gold than the guy who is farming, otherwise he will farm instead of doing something else with the ore.

Now, think, what can you do with the ore, and earn more gold/hour than farming it? Tested, in 4.3 in 24h you can earn 100k with one char only, if you are on a populated server, over and over.

I always find it funny people asking when to give up farming elementium when their server is obviously flooded with bots.
It's always the same answers:

1. Move server
2. Farm something different

Option 1 involves some expense for a transfer and some research into the server you plan to move to.
Option 2 also involves some research into what is selling and not selling on the AH and what low level mats can be farmed and shifted in quantity, you can also look at buying cheap mats and processing them into something more valuable but that also requires some research.

I barely farm any more as I can process cheap mats from the AH into crafted gear/weapons for a nice profit instead.

would you mind sharing your profile? or the link to it? i have the same issue but i play a t a different time like 5am when most r sleeping adn im looking for a efficient profile for elementium. please help me lol

Solution: Farm azshara's veil and obsidium in Vashj'Ir..... There is never another farmer there, only ever people questing.
