Me being one of them, how has BossLand improved the bot's security? Are we safer than we were back in May? Let's be honest here, people continued to get banned every day. Now before anyone replies "botting will never be safe" and/or "you accept the risks when you bot" I think it's also Bosslands responsibility to to let the community know that this bot appears to be no safer than it was back in the mass banwave in May.
100,000 accounts are a little more than a month away from being active again. Have we learned about how Blizzard busted thousands of accounts? Have we improved the security of the bot? Have you invested time and money into helping us safeguard the accounts we use or are we all lambs awaiting the slaughter?
I loved honorbuddy. It was the best bot out there. It provided me countless hours of character advancement that otherwise I would not have the time to dedicate too. For me, not being a gold farmer, it helped level the playing field. But until there's some level of reassurance that the current bot is different, improved, "safer" (nothing will ever been 100% safe) than it was back in May, honorbuddy is finished in my book.
It would be nice if Bossland responded to the community on this before the 6 month ban is lifted on all those thousands of accounts. These very same questions will be on people's minds when November 13th rolls around. The state of the bot should be addressed to the community, even if it painfully means being brutally honest and admitting that you're account are at HIGH risk with continued use of honorbuddy.
And if there has been advancements, if there has new measures put in the protect our accounts from bans, by all means, tell us it's safer. But be honest. Don't continue to sell a product that at this time runs a higher than normal risk than it has in the past.
