Hi all,

I'd just like to ask developers or anyone who knows anything about a new "patch" or "change" to botting to not get as easily detected. I know developers are "working on it" but just curious to know if you could give the community a predicted release date

or details to what is being worked on would be great, thanks! ;)

How do you know THEY ARE WORKING ON IT? No announcement has been made, it's pure speculation from what I can tell. Redesigning stuff takes just as much as creating something new so I wouldn't expect it to be soon, assuming they are indeed redesigning things.

But if it is related to the movement and the CTM and those things then yes it can be improved and we have plans to improve it regardless of blizzards plans with detection.

yep, thats the one i meant :)

there is an "if" on Nat's post

we never said it was movement or CMT or something

I guess the community is "education guessing" with the information we have, if it is not movement or CMT, does the team have an idea what that something might be? or does the team not recognize a something has changed or believe it's simply an increase of ban reports...

I cannot speak for the community but I myself do not have the knowledge or expertise in the botting field to accurately analyse, however I personally have been trying to find out what the team's stance and views on botting these days and what is to come for the future

For the Buddy community, bottom line is we just want to know what the team is thinking currently and what they plan to do. I see the community in wandering in the dark , personally I would highly appreciate if the team would give out a bit more detail and visionary scope

And shed some light on the community on what is going on and what they plan to do, even if it is not promising.

In the end we are all trying to help the community for a safer buddy experience

*Obama end*

I'd honestly prefer to be taken by surprise. Allow me to explain why.

These forums are public, and probably monitored by Blizzard employees who work for the "anti-hack" team ([email protected]) or something like that. The point is, if a solution from the buddy team is announced then not only us will be satisfied, but also their employees. There's nothing better for a business than knowing what's coming in the future. They can prepare for it and these bans will repeat themselves shortly after it's "fixed", resulting in more complaints.

Believe me, I'm a human and a very curious one. I'd love to know if things are getting changed, but in this particular case I believe it's best for all of us to not know it. Let them amaze us if they have a fix, otherwise let's keep doing what we're doing and bot safely. If it comes and you and everyone else didn't know it was coming, then I'd consider it a complete success.

Just my insight.

I'm not asking the team to reveal a detailed plan and technicalities , was just hoping the team could give us some insight on when or what is going to happen, because it seems like the community has minimal information about the future changes to honorbuddy

:) thats all

Could be sweet, to hear what the developers are thinking :)

We are all aware that blizzard is monitoring this forum, but if you think about it...even if hb devs don't tell us and "surprise" us bliz will still get that info....sooner or later.
As it is now it's actually good for me, I am still botting with my own tact and the prices went double on my server since the bands started... yes I do have to bot a lot less hours but my income is still good.
