When HB updated was it vunerable ? ( read post )

Okay my title isn't very clear and i have asked this before.

While Honorbuddy is updating a new release and the little window pops up and does the install and all that stuff, how safe is honorbuddy during that time.

Like say warden scanned me while honorbuddy was downloading the newest release could honorbuddy see that and shutdown the install ?

Just curious i have always wondered this.


If it was something like this it would explain why some bots got banned and some didn't and the randomness of it all and mixing in the regular bans with this would make it hard to decipher.


( what i mean is blizzard waits for honorbuddy to do several patches and does scans full time during those days that they know honorbuddy is patching they gather the info from several updates and bam hit everyone they caught during that time)

of course this is only if honorbuddy is even detectable during an update??

Also the reason i am asking this is when my wife logged on she was downloading the HB update and never hit start and within minutes was banned.

no, warden only cares about the game and the space the game is running in. since those windows do not alter wow, or the game running in anyway. its completely safe. its not until something tries to inject or modify or play around in the wow address space that warden is then capable of doing anything. think of it like a guard dog, if your outside of his yard your perfectly fine, but if you decide to go in and mess around you better be sneaky.

oh they were looking at everyone over the course of a few weeks to get so many people and so "precisely".

if you were using hb during the period they were scanning for it then youve already been flagged.

had little to nothing to do with what you were doing the last few days before the ban dropped.

i also really believe that it has everything to do with the new update , coz we have two HB in my family , i did the update and received a ban within minutes , the other one did not update has botting more than me and received nothing ,

at the same time do i also wonder if it is aloud that blizzard makes a control from my cpu and ram , is this not a sort of violation against my own private ,

I do not cry coz i get banned coz i knew the risk ,i was banned before in other games as well so this is nothing new for me , as soon as HB is back i will continue coz i love the way they have made this script , good luck HB

if you live in the USA, you gave written consent to waive your 4th amendment protection against illegal search and seizure.

my deepest respect , but this is for me the only explanation i have for my issue , cuz it was not that i have made a lot of advances or that i have used a lot my bot , i have used it perhaps 15 to 20 h max -and it was not active the days before , i was also online after blizz was back active (after the maintenance ) i have done the update from HB and was banned within minutes

about the terms of use,
i understand what you're saying , but no i'm not from the USA

and for example with FB do you also have "terms of use" but at this moment do we have intern conversations in our parliament about "violation of your private" even after subscribing for agree ,

almost every product you use has some sort of Terms of Use. some require no interaction from the buyer, but some, like the one from blizz, clicking agree alters your rights.

terms keep idiots from suing the manufacturer if they are too stupid to use the product.

i really didnt think the poster had read the answer given, or was just being annoying by asking the same question over again. and the remark about the 4th amendment was being informative about people not understanding the US version of the terms. and you really should read the Terms before clicking agree because ignorance of the rules is no excuse. in real life or on the internet. especially on a game where you are actively trying to dodge the banhammer with an account that you wish to keep. how does someone get banned , then qft the terms when they havent even looked at before scrolling past and blindly clicking the agree button. why would anyone trust another parties lawyer to keep them safe.

but i feel for you. i truly didnt realize it was possible to be offended by so little.
