When fighting 3 or less mobs as barb

I run the IK/Raekor set, which is amazing, but at higher Grifts, the rare/elites/champs got quite a lot of HP, and for Furious Charge to get reset I think it needs to hit at least 4 targets, if its 3 its almost a reset. Here is the problem, if two champs are alive, and quite far away, trinity will try to hit both with a long charge, and it does, but that will not reset Charge CD, and if my barb only hit one, it will reset coz of the set. Is there a way to "fix" this?
