Hi there, So I just bought a v.p.n today and also another copy of diablo 3 because they keep on banning my account off and on. I supposably have evidence of botting back to 2012 probably from ghetto Sarkoth runs. So right now i'm downloading diablo 3 through the v.p.n but unfortunately its at 300 KB/s which will take all day. So I was wondering does the battle.net client see your IP address when your downloading the game, or only when your actually in the Diablo 3 client? My guess is right from the battle.net client they see your IP address? I would rather switch to my internet and download faster but if they can see my IP, I would be screwed. Thanks guys:)

they properly detect your IP whenever you connect to a blizzard server. so proberly yes. but normally you have a dynamic ip adress, so each day your provider gunna give you a new one. are you sure you have a static ip adress?

btw: i dont think you gunna get banned because of your IP, so dont be screwed and just relax, have fun with your bot ;)

Thanks for the reply, but i've had about 3 different accounts on the same IP over the last few years, different computers, same house. My accounts are so different that they would have a hard time connecting one to another. the only thing I can think of is extremely bad luck, or they have seen my static IP address connect to all 3 botting accounts. im guessing I do have a static IP address, I wouldn't see why not.

I would like to keep on botting on that account, but they keep on banning me and unbanning me for suspicious in-game activity everyother week, its weird.

Almost positive that downloading the game normally wouldnt make any difference. Then use the *** if you think that would be the cause of your bans.

Do you bot WoW on those accounts too ? because I used to get banned from running those gather bots all the time. Would be mid raid and boom disconnected and have an email saying i was banned. Call them up and get unbanned.

I have never played WoW. I'm able to play for like 3-4 weeks , then I get banned for about 5 days for suspicious ingame activity. This is the 2nd time this has happened .
