I was curious on how many hours a day you bot, I have been running 2 accounts 12/12 for a couple weeks now, finally leveled the 2nd account up to 60 as of tonight but i want to make sure i set up radatom etc to break often and not draw any red flags to my account but i also want to make these accounts profitable

I think there are two kinds of people that answer these posts. One kind are the 12/12 botters encouraging others to bot 24/7, throwing them under the bus to draw the wrath of Blizzard. The others are suicide botters telling others to only bot 12/12 to keep the gold market up.

That said, balls to the wall. Every hour not farming is profit lost.

:)

i wont worry about it on the alt account but im weary about 24/7 on my main. i remember running 24/7 in d2 and getting banned shortly thereafter.

The question is how much you want to risk.

If you bot 18 hours a day, 30 days a month, that's 540 hours a month botting. 24 hours a day, 30 days, would be 720. If you use a generic figure (say $1/hour), there's an obvious benefit seen to 24/7.

The problem lies in how much of a target you think it makes you in Warden's eyes. If 18 hours a day means you last 6 months instead of 4 months at 24/7, obviously it's worth it to cool down a bit.

Is there really any factual evidence behind it? I don't believe so. 24/7 botters have been banned, 18 hour/day botters have been banned too.

Personally, I do about 18-20 hours a day. I'm psycho and would do that by hand if I still had interest in the game, so I like to think keeping it close to my normal schedule from before is smarter.

Roll the dice, my friend. Roll the dice.

24/7...you also need to factor in what will the price be in 1,2,3 month from now so make as much as you can right now

24/7, i used to bot on a schedule, 8 hours a day, all those accounts got banned, I know it's luck but my 24/7 are still going strong. it's like blizzard are telling me "good job, you're no longer a pussy".

You also need to consider that the amount of money per hour you can make from this game is decreasing. Just go ballz deep, 24/7 and get as much money from this game as posible before it turns to shit.

That's what I was thinking, I just want to make back what I spent and gear my characters to the teeth

Call me naive or overy-optimistic, but I don't think Blizz is going to let D3 go the wayside just yet.

I can guarantee you they've got at least an expansion and PVP coming yet... so I don't know. I'm still making enough that it's worth it, so I'll keep going. Even if I only make $20 a week across bots, it's money I'm making for free. It's not like it's really labor intensive or anything.
