What's with all the ban reports today?

I haven't been on HB long since my return earlier this week. I used to bot quite regularly and make profiles myself back in Cata. Back then things were much different, barely any ban reports unless people were playing 24/7 without monitoring and people didn't charge for profiles/CC.

The IRC channel is more or less dead in comparison to what it used to be so I can't go there asking for any updates. But what is going on with all these ban reports? I know botting was never safe but I had never heard of people being banned for the likes of LazyRaider.

Bliz is def stepping it up with the bans, they just seem to give a shit more now which is odd because usually the older a game is the less they give a shit about botting...

There are pros and cons for bots being allowed in WoW but when they're able to ban somebody for using nothing but LazyRaider it makes me wonder how. I've always been about botting safely so this is a major issue for me. What also worries me is not one single staff member has commented on the bans. (as far as I have seen)

Hmm well I'm questing currently, while talking in guild chat and /s so shouldn't draw too much attention as I do every other quest manually just so I look human... That ban report just had me a bit worried and then with all the new ban reports blaming GB2. These things make me worry!

After reading through most of the latest ban threads it seems like 99 percent of them are on the US servers. Is that the case? Or are we just too lazy in Europe to post here when we get banned?

It seems like Blizz are focusing more on banning people on the US servers. Sorry if i'm late with this, but I haven't read anything about it so just wanted to share it. Just a theory.

Here's how much I care, I just put in a ticket asking for, "The Supreme GM joke!" and yes I am botting as I wrote that and will continue to to bot. My chances of being banned? Slim to none. Why? I don't bot for 19 hours at a time.

EU GMs have always been that way. US has a higher ban rate because of the GMs that run it our much stricter.

Not sure why it's that way and I'm not sure if I'm getting confused with the above statement with TERA. I know that TERA is exactly the same but the EU get updates weeks after US due to it being owned by a separate company.

But yeah last I recall EU has always had a lower ban rate. If all those reports are US servers then it seems that US GMs are *****ing down on bots.

Lol I logged in for 5 minutes AFK, came back, started the questing bot and within 2 minutes I got a 72 suspension
I've been botting on that account since Vanilla though so I've always botted smart.

I logged in a lvl 19 char with kick's profile. About 2 min later when walking down the street I was instant killed and there was nothing in the combat log. Needless to say, I stopped the bot.. tried to look human and then logged off :/

Lol just go to your combat tab in game and click "What happened to me?"

There are to many bots, the botters numbers grew like crazy after cataclysm and blizzard has to stop it!

Did, nothing there. Instant kill and no log. Thought the devs just teleported people. Killing them is news to me.

In an Oondasta raid today, and a few minutes before we pulled one of the guys in my raid got teleported out into the ocean. US server. Dunno if he was a suspect or not, but I instantly thought of this.
