What's the status on IB2?

I was wondering what the status is on IB2.

I recall some time ago a post with the message it was on it's way, but so far I haven't seen anything about it.

Is it still on it's way?
Did it get lost in the twisting nether?
Did it have a loss of GPS signal and therefor was detoured?

Not to be rude or anything guys, it's all meant in a fun way, but I wonder if it's a sense to look at the current scripts if IB2 is really nearly there.

Thanks, Liquid.

It was on the test version. I couldn't really test it because at lowbie places (only lowbie cata instances were scripted) tanks don't last long and get kicked, and DB leaves the party after one minute if there's no tank in the group.

But the few pulls I've seen worked great! (lol)

I believe it just needs scripting of the dungeons (and to raise the timer to wait for tanks longer lol).

Any ETA (And please no 'When it's done' answer, unless u give a bucket along with it).

Will there be any documentation on writing pofiles for it?
Will it have it's own API or are we gonna appeal to 'QuestBehaviours' to perform certain tasks?
Will it also support raid instances (e.g. Molten Core since you can enter it alone if you are attuned)?

I firstly assume Raphus is writing it.
Now that Ryftomatic is history, I assume we can expect faster progress (Since it's demise has freed some developers).
We is curious creatures and wanna know more :)

There is no ETA yet.
I only can say: It's done when it's done :D

So please be patient, because i think after all you dont want an incomplete or bugged bot to be released :)

look, if someone wants to write their own "instancebuddy" equivalent as an open source community project you can, its not like where going to stop you, but as it is, instancebuddy2 since its included will be built into the bot. (you know when its done)

for the people who are like "we wanna know whats going on"
all we can really say is that its in development and but as far as a time frame, you need to keep in mind that instances are about a third of the world of warcraft, and what needs to be built needs to be able to support not only current content, but whatever is coming in MoP as well so the project needs to be in a really good place (development wise) before we will even start letting people publicly testing it. yes i know you guys hate the "when its done" answer, but you also hate buggy software as well. if i had to put a time frame on it, i would have to say sometime before MoP, but ultimately its falls on raphus, he is lead developer, and i cant really speak for him.

Thanks for the honest reply CnG I think its just a crazy demand for this that causes the community to keep badgering about it.

i don't blame you guys, im one of this bots biggest fans, but time and time again releasing things that arent finished has causes more problems and makes more people frustrated then if we make sure things are done right the first time.

Just to clarify: It's called Dungeonbuddy, Dungeonbuddy have had some testing and ive been the one testing it from 15 to 85 with resto shaman. Overall it works pretty awesome atm with more intelligent tank following than Instancebuddy never did. Atm Raphus is re-writing singular which is going really well also (for exam DK frost, update ur singular and check urself). After Singular is done Raphus will go for Dungeonbuddy again and it will be released after theres correct Tanking support also, so far it supports almost like all dungeons up to lvl 80 with healing/dpsing but not tanking. Also it supports Stonecore, Blackrock, Throne and Vortex Pinnacle as DPS/healer in normal mode.

Hope this helped you out on eta.

I am looking forward to this, im not in a hurry tho i have a nice new bot atm, which is awesome btw. BGbuddy has geared lots of my toons. 7/19 85s XD
