What's the safest course of action?

Ok quick run down on what happened. I was running kicks and questing in Icecrown.

I supervise my bot about 98% of the time so i noticed that another player had spat on me. He was same faction so i attempted to whisper him - offline. He wasn't online long enough to post a ticket however there is nothing stopping him/her from posting one later / on a diff toon.

Am i being paranoid? Should i stop botting for a while? Need some guidance from the experienced community here.

if you supervise your bot 98% then what was the bot doing at the exact time the player spit on you? Did you steal a monster from him or skinned his mob or anything noticeable?

-Namednoob - Yeah i was killing mobs and he was in the area. I cant tell if i took one of his or not.

-Gentoo - I dont sit and stare at it non stop. I keep a very close eye on it, usually while playing something else or watching a movie/tv show. I bot cautiously. I never full afk bot, but whatever works for you

If your bot wasnt looking "botty" i'd not worry. Also one person reporting isnt going to get blizzard checking you up, can you imagine how many people report each other just out of small mindedness? Try to imagine how many reports blizz deal with, its my understanding that they really take a closer look when its multiple reports.

This is however the inherent risk we all live with when we load honorbuddy, my advice to you is not to worry about it though. As many people say on here, if you want peace of mind stop botting.

Thanks Conoxcise, It wasn't looking too "botty" so i should be fine and your very right about the report load Blizz must have to deal with. I guess it was a bit of a panic post. Thanks for you advice
