What's the deal with routines?

It's been months now since the expansion and custom routines are still only available for the same few classes. Are the devs gone? Are they too busy with legionbuddy (which is where btw?) Would like to know why this place feels half dead.
 
All the Tuanha routines and the others we bought, when will we be able to use them?

Fyi your Buddystore routine purchases expire at the end of an expansion. Meaning that if you bought a routine in WoD, once Legion hit the dev was no longer obligated to keep it updated.
Many of the popular custom HB routines have moved off the buddystore for Legion, and off these forums, for various reasons. I believe it's against forum rules to link to them, but a google search for the routine names should bring up results. For Tuanha in particular, while his Legion routines are outside of the buddystore, if you have them purchased in the buddystore there's a process you can go through on his new website to get full access to his current routines.
 
tuanha has his own website and if you bought his products go to his site registar then he will migrate your paid over to be able to use with the bot. as for all other cr's this place is a ghost town for that might want to search the web for places to get them no one here likes to push good cr's anymore. and it cost all the develpoers money to put them in here so they went else where
 
tuanha has working CRs and has had for awhile now... do what craptuna said and u will be fine.
 
I have my CRs for every single class. Only had to purchase one additional one after legion because dev is no longer around to update. Things aren't that gloomy. And Singular does a good job as well keeping you alive when farming or questing.
 
Support your Developers. Just because you paid $15 a year and a half ago doesn't mean you can't donate another 10 bucks. developers are people too, they like to feel appreciated. instead of saying 'CR's are dead, woe is me', say to yourself, 'CR's are dead, what can i do to help?'

This product is community driven. it needs your support. it needs developers. it needs people interested in seeing it stay alive. IT NEEDS YOU.
 
Frost i have no issue paying for good cr's but please tell me who has developed any competing cr's that actually are pushing good numbers? Not to mention Why dont you tel me why most of the developers who use to push really good cr's and the number one person who made almost all cr's for every class go out on their own? There are reasons why so instead of saying we dont support developers think about why and how many crs arnt that great. Now like i said if someone was to push a good cr id gladly pay for it instead of going to another bot to do my rotations for me. Now if you have any cr's that are really good send me a link or ill gladly test for you ive play'd this game for so long so i know what it takes to have really good numbers and i play almost all classes so let me know what you have and ill gladly help you out.

I didn't start this thread to complain about pricing. I have no problem buying updated versions of the routines. I'm only asking where they're at! Singular barely scrapes by for questing, nevermind anything else.
 
@craptuna i understand your point, i really do. but its like the chicken and the egg. what has to come first. do we donate to a developer because they make a good cr, or does the developer make a good cr because they get donations.

personally i feel like more donations/interest/public showing of affection towards existing developers might push them to develop more refined products, such as great CRs.

the issue with developers leaving the forums, from what ive read from their threads/announcements had to do with buddystore contracts. i followed a couple of developers when they left the forums and time will tell if it works out. i miss mirabis's cr Leaves and am glad there was a couple options for me to pickup for legion. if it werent for a decent cr, then i wouldnt play wow at all. i wish you the best on your hunt for a CR. and of course, you could always code your own.
 
Thanks frost i always believe in the developers its sad to see alot go due to payment issues. Back in the day they use to allow cr's to be free untill the store made it hard for anyone to make money to push a cheap cr to help all the users. I am no where close to being able to create my own wish i was but i only know how to build pc's the software side is a whole new world for me. plus im 30 so my brain doesnt absorb all new things sadly. Good luck to you if you come up with anything let me know ill gladly help out and make donations to those who actually try.

42 here, so i know where you are coming from. i still have to read things two or three times, and hope there is a pic involved. i think mine has more to do with my 7 second attention span though.
 
Honestly I'm glad things are moving off the buddy store. Maybe then we can use paypal again to pay for goods and services that I would have done else where but don't have the option to do so.

Thanks man. honorbuddy has breathed new life into WoW for me and i try to give it the respect it deserves. the developers here work very hard to feel so underappreciated. and then they are made to feel even worse when they ask for a couple of bucks to help with the electricity bill.
