Whats the current situation with the bot at the moment is it safe to use or no??

Funny question. I am using it, no problems. Just don't do anything stupid, IE teleport. The 3rd party API calls aren't the cause as far as it seems.

It's all speculation. Everyone know's SOMETHING is going on. No one knows for certain.

From what I have gathered, the same as other sites have posted. Insane teleporters are still banned many hours later. Some occasional teleporters (me) got IP banned. Change IP, nothing permanent. Also, on my phone I have seen some issues with the server side, totally non-botting related.

Thus far, everyone that wasn't too stupid can simply change IP and get back on without issue.

Also, of note, API calls are not all being responded to. This could just be the servers or in fact more is being done behind the scenes. Niantic is not going to tell us anything, I highly doubt they will respond to ANY inquiries. Anything that will assist us figuring things out won't be assisted by them.
