Whats the ban rate like these days? (been away)

hey guys

not touched HB since i used it to level characters in MoP

Just seen theres some WoD profiles now up to 100 that seem good.

Whats is like these days in terms of bannings? Likely to get caught using it for questing? or are they pretty chill these days?

Cheers for any advice!
 
I too am curious, I've been away for roughly 18 months after my account was banned. I got suckered back in to do arena's with my buddies and need to level up more toons, professions, etc...
 
Curious as well. Will likely just use it to level fishing in my garrison for the time being, but have an army of low level alts that I'd love to give full garrison support to.
 
If you get one report about "Hacking/Cheating", then blizzard will go check your PC, so remember to hide the program well!! and yes, when accepting the Terms of Use, you give permission for blizzard to look though your PC if they think you are using hacks/cheats.

So there is a huge chance of getting banned if caught :-)
 
I disagree, I've been botting for months and never been caught, it all depends on the script you use...

If you bot around other players then there's a higher chance of being banned even though I tend to bot BGs often and don't get banned.
 
If you get Reported or Caught using your scripts and programs then you will get banned

When i used to use it they had times where they stepping up checking for bots and vastly higher numbers were getting banned, ive ued it to have every class at 90 with full pvp gear in MoP but i didnt know if its still as safe over a year later

its same as its always been buddy, be smart, dont be a moron with it, dont over use it, dont use a profile thats pure bot like,

i have 52 alts on 2 accounts, all 90+ now some @ 100

just be intelligent

Same here. I think I'm going to wait a few weeks to a month and see what happens during that time just to give me the "warm fuzzy blanket of safety feeling".

More people should say this to a lot of the posts on these forums, there are smart botters and stupid botters and there seem to be a lot more of the dummys... and they dont even have to be, just use search and use your brain and you are fine. Mostly.

OP's question: unless HB detected (which it hasnt been for awhile) the banrates probably much the same, it depends on how long you bot continuously, where you do it, if enough ppl think you a bot and report, the profile you use, etcccc. Just bot safe and you should be fine. Bot safe meaning, supervise!! don't bot continuously for like 12+ hours!! switch profiles!! its all about acting legit. The only ban you cant control is the Warden detections which HB been safe from for awhile.

Yes, this guy totally knows what he is talking about.
Make sure to rename folders to "school work" and do a lot of folders. Also dont mention Honorbuddy or "Bot" over Skype in your microphone, they actively monitor it.
For best ban protection, go to your local supermarket and request some "anti-ban material", also known as tinfoil. Take a piece around 40x40 cm, place it ontop of your head and push evenly around your head to form a hat-like shape.

(or not, this guy has no idea what he is talking about)
 
Looking at the ban reports, something has happened recently, there's loads of reports today. I've lost my 6 accounts too, basic dungeon farming. I guess Blizz wants us to give them more money for new accounts before they start the New Year
