What's safer to store gold ?

I have a guild with 5 toons lvling ( --> farmers ) and one used for safe meassure. all for 3.75 euro so these are trowaway accounts - general idea is to lvl to 85 (now with the updated battlechest) and farm.
Now the gold that they gather on this particular realm, should I keep the gold in the guildbank and have the safety account be the guildleader, or just keep the safety account out the guild and make it carry the gold ?

When blizzard bans the farmer toons, do they completely remove the guild or ? Lost once 160k gold in guildbank because the leader was one of the farmers, making the guild be disbanded on it's ban...


still made a good profit but still... not fun

When you sell gold they will wipe out your guild banks.

You should store all the gold on your main non-botted account or on a mule. Or several mule accounts, your choice. When you want to sell gold you pay for the game time and then ask customer support to give you the money back. It's a throw away account after all

Just say you regret the decission or something. As long as you didn't play for more than 6-8 hours you should be fine.

I've been selling out of the same guild bank for a year and a half. They've busted 9 of my accounts on that server, they missed one.. And it was still in the guild luckily as a officer so it had full rights to the bank withdrawls.

When the Guildmaster is banned - the guild will be disbanded regardless of how many officers you may have

Do it with mule accounts, getting your guild bank involved is a big risk, if you love everything you're left disgruntled and screwed. Even if your mule gets banned, you're still left with your guild intact and you've only lost a mule account, not farmer's or anyone attached to the guild.

That is untrue, after 90 days the officers can just take the Guild back for you.

I agree with you, though I don't really know the criteria for a guild bank getting wiped out. In my case, my Guildmaster wasn't banned but all guild were wiped out where I used one of my mules to sell gold with.

From that point on I don't mix guild banks and gold selling.

I've had my guild deleted and all the accounts in it, all of mine, including long inactive accounts, banned.

I got several accounts, all of them on the same guild, selling with GBank withdraw - haven't had issues so far.

However I read stuff like withdrawing all the gold to your main/legit account

Am I getting lucky without any bans so far when I sell the gold or what?
