The title is open , can someone explain whats this IV thing and where should I be focused when catching pokemons and transfering etc.

Basically not all of a same pokemon are the same. Two pikachu's can be different. One can have higher or lower stats naturally, so obviously you'd want to invest in the one with higher stat increases. Idk how to check manually but there are many calculators online to use.

What I would like to know is if these IVs are accurate, most IV calculator I have seen give me a range rather than a direct %(btw adding % after the IV rating would make it clearer).

Explanation why IV is more important than CP
It means that it will keep the best IV (Individual values) which means that in the end, it might be a low CP but it will be a lot (and i mean A LOT) stronger.
Here's an example:
You get a Dragonite with 0% IV (the worst you can get) but it's CP 1875. That seems good because the the CP is high.. Right? WRONG.
You get a Dragonite with 100% IV(The best you can get), but only has a CP of 1250... That must suck right?
No actually they're equally as good.
IV means "bonus stats" which will be added to the base stats that each pokemon has,and if you have 100% IV compared to a 0% IV, it's gonna be 1.5x better. So ALWAYS prioritise IV over CP at any point. And since you're botting, getting candy and star dust is no problem.
and the MOST IMPORTANT thing. When you're looking for the "Perfect" pokemon go through these steps. DISCLAIMER CP DOES NOT MATTER, IT ONLY UPGRADES HITPOINTS, NOTHING ELSE.
