After the may ban wave that resulted from the detection on HB, it was stated that things were resolved. And in December HB was detected again. once again Tripwire fail'd to protect. Well i was reading the tripwire forum and it states that at only once has HB been detected. Is it implied that the December wave wasn't from HB detection? I'm fully aware that as to exactly what caused the detection will not be spoken of, nor should it really. But im looking for an admin post or something regarding, their stance and if that issue had been corrected. If someone could link something from the forum for me i would appreciate it. i have scoured for a while with nothing answering me really.
I've botted for many years, bans and banwaves are a natural part of the process. But are usually a result of client side flags and player reports. I'm just curious if we should expect another to lose a chunk of the botting community ever 6 months or so from now on? I know this is all a fluid process Blizzard finds HB, HB adapts to stay sheltered again. But it seems things have changed in the past year. Just looking for answers. Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide.
