I would like to raise this subject considering (no offence) the moderators are acting(Tony) on everey answer you give, you act like an ignorant dude who hits his face in the wall and does not give an concrete answer.

If you take a look on the ban section on the Hearthstone banned section the cases has escalated so with so many banned posts that it has almost cluded the whole ban-section with posts. Even if you go to the discussion page you can see a lot of people arguing against the detection. You can see clearly that something is fucking wrong compared to 2 weeks back when there was at most like 2 cases. now there is 20+ posts and more people spamming the posts about being banned, I've also had a lot of friends who have posted on the forums getting thier accounts muted and post deleted only becuase it's a regular "bann-report" with some questions askings what's going on. If this accounts gets muted then I see that there clearly is something going on and your trying to shade it. But we still got no honest answer from any moderator.

Is there a problem which the consumers should know about?
Saying something is better then saying nothing and providing an answer(It could be as simple as something is wrong and admit that you perhaps dont even know it), just saying "It's "Safe" as Always" with posts about banns pouring in on the Hearthstone forum like waterfall just proves that something is going to hell and we are not getting anything.

Latlet it feels like you people just dont give a shit anymore and just wanna make more money, that is a my opinoin as a consumer.

My self I stopped playing HS or using a BOT for HS like 2-3 months ago. And I got the same bann as the other people.
Still no post that explains anything with all the cases more than you just saying("No Ban Wave") and read the rules. Like ppl are not allowed to give a section of thier opinoin.

Considering the same bot what I can see, goes through the "same" framework - Are other Bots in the same suit? like Honorbuddy?
We need to know, and we defenetly need a more concrete answer to wtf is going on, or just state that you have no ide.

Wrong section. And if you're looking for something out of tony, you will be disappointed unless it's "post a log" or "use support section closed"

Maybe he doesn't give you any concrete answer because he dont know. some people are stupid when they bot. they bot for 24/7 and then get mad when they are banned and they call it a ban wave. But it might be just the player whos botting stupidly?

As a part of botting, theres always a risk of being banned, accept it or don't bot. Simple as.

This is not the buddy teams fault if someone gets banned, because they are going through every security messure there is to make the bot "safe" to use but the risk of using it never goes away.

Does this answer your post in a more concrete way?

Forum compromised

Guys, this forum is compromised on a high level. Useful information about bans is beeing deleted or archived immediately, just not to be shown on the title page where most of the readers can find it. That's sad :(

That's simply not true.

Ban reports go in Ban Section - Ban Reports.
Ban discussions go in Discussions (no Ban Reports here)

The other sections on the Buddyforums are setup in similar ways. However, I asked Tony to make a Ban Section for this forum since one was never made before. There are a lot of things this project has lagged behind on with that other bots haven't. Before, people were just posting in General, which wasn't a huge deal at the time, but with the influx of bans, it was an issue now. Tony added the discussions section to keep "discussions" about the bans separate from the reports, as whenever there's an influx of bans, we see all sorts of trolls and "spam" posts that get in the way of legit user posts. It's the downside to having a public forum that is not tied to only our customers, but it's not like legit ban reports are getting deleted when posted in the correct location (otherwise the Ban report section would be empty).

As for any info on the bans itself, there's not too much to talk about (I can't say anything else private or public). As Blizzard warned everyone at the end of October last year:
We’re committed to creating a fun and rewarding environment for our players, and we will continue to closely monitor activities within Hearthstone and take appropriate action against cheating in any form, as outlined in our Terms of Use. From this point on, accounts found to be cheating will be permanently closed without warning.

A lot of people have been getting comfortable botting in this game (and D3) and Blizzard decided to do something about it. Hearthbuddy is as safe as possible right now, but botting will always carry risks. You have to take the bad days along with the good.

About your point on the location of information, Tony's 94,021 posts say otherwise about most people even reading the forums :p Anyone who wants to do their research can, and will find everything they need. It's now just simply organized into where it should be rather than scattered in General. I really don't think anything is going on that is not outside the norm of how all our other sections are setup when it comes to this stuff, but I guess I carry some bias, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

I've addressed about as much as I can, so hopefully it's enough.

OK, maybe I just had bad luck, but I only commented my own personal experience with my latest posts.
There's no doubt botting may lead to ban and everyone has to keep that in mind when doing it.

I saw a topic who someones was talking about his ban and the possible banwave, what Tony talked? "There are no banwave, closed". lel

I got banned too.

lol I don't know why people always act so surprised. You think Honorbuddy gives a fuck about you lmao you better guess again. They make a program (which I like don't get me wrong) but they basically say hey were going to make you a program and if you get banned oh well start over and try again. It's business, yea they are going to try and not let you get ban if they can, because they don't want to lose there customer base, but at the end of the day, there hear for the money just like any other business. If you sold a product and were making money and everyone was bitching you can honestly say you would care, no you wouldn't. You would try your best to save people from getting banned because like I said you don't want to lose customers and potential customers, but your still going to basically say oh well you know the rules and you clearly did something wrong. NOW with that all being said we all know the rules and we continue to break them and yeah it's not honorbuddy's fault so like I said don't act so surprised when they really don't give a fuck because you wouldn't either.

lol your a idiot

Business 101 make your clientele happy so they return and pay more which means more money if you have unhappy clients then why the hell would they want to pay for more product makes sense doesn't it go back to school you dumb 12 year old let the grownups post on the forums.

How to punctuation?

Blizzard's obviously in the money. They ban people spending hundreds of bucks without respect. Maybe they think people are going to start from the beginning and pay again

As one of the people who was banned, I understand that it sucks. The bottom line is we are CHEATING!! I accepted that when I started botting. The guys who write the buddy bots work hard to keep them hidden, but lets face it, Blizzard works just as hard to find us out.

I spent a lot of money buying card packs on my account for HS, and when I got banned I was angry. The fact is, I cheated. I knew the risks when I purchased the bot. I knew the risks when I hit start one the bot. I understand that you are all angry and want to blame someone, but the fact is, We are at fault. We broke the TOS, We violated the rules for the game, We did this willingly, We have to face the repercussions.

You can whine and cry and complain that the people who write the buddy bots don't care, but they didn't force you to buy the bot. They didn't force you to cheat. You can be angry about getting banned, but maybe you should look at yourself as the one to be angry towards, because at the end of the day, YOU chose to cheat, just like I did. When I got banned for cheating the other day, after I got past the anger stage, I looked at myself and said "Yep, I deserved that".

Now its your turn.

This is whats going on:

Ok, anecdote...

I met a guy at defcon a few years back who worked on security at Steam, and we talked about botting and generally client-side mods that give an unfair advantage in some games.

He told me that they usually know when somebody is developing a new tool, but they don't initially do anything about it, because they don't want to give away how good their detection heuristics are. Instead, they let him develop it and even play with it. Then the guy posts it on the internet, tells everybody it works and he didn't get banned so it must be undetectable. Then lots of people download the thing and start using it, and then when usage hits a certain threshold, down comes the ban hammer and they do a full sweep.

The strategy is designed to de-incentivize cheat tool development. Obviously the developer lost a lot of credibility after telling everybody that his tool was undetectable -- banning him in the first place when they saw what he was doing wouldn't have done everything other than make him create a new account and try to be more clever. It also makes it harder for people to know whether you are actually evading anti-cheat countermeasures, or if you are being watched silently.

just to make some things clear

botting requires 2 things,a good bot and common sense

you cant bot 24/7 etc and be safe, anti-warden protection has to do with software detection not user behavior

Yeah, but lately the hearthbuddy isn't that great...

btw i already answered on this

this is a double thread of this one https://www.thebuddyforum.com/heart...an-reports-here-/203214-what-is-going-on.html

again,there was no banwave

the ban reports under ban section its a *very* low % of our userbase

So you assume all the people who didn't post are fine? Or you assume people are obligated to report after being banned? Why would I open a post saying my 3 accounts were banned if you guys keep refusing there was a banwave ( which only affected HearthBuddy and not other bots)
