What Will You Do While The Devs Prepare HB for 4.1.......

With 4.1 being tomorrow (99.9% looking) there is that lingering thought.. "What Will I Do??"

I am sure the Dev's will be needing a few to get things checked to make sure there are no issues. And possibily some reworking of some of the features like BG's and such.

So the question is... What will you do with your down time???

Check Out the new Quests in Northern Barrens?
Go Hit the new Raids?
Scratch your heads at the changes to your class?
Go change out your currency for the other so you can get that new gear?


Personally, I'm gonna start by hitting the Currency exchange, and get some needed BoA's. Then start checking out new realms for new homes :) Will give me some adiquate time to scout out locations and a good foothold to start with the BoA's being able to transfer realms (mostly).
 
seems like a good time to reinstall windows, thats a cake tho, reinstalling wow is much shittier ;F
 
LOL that is true..

Remember to save you ALOT of time.. all the install files are usually stored on your comp if you did the digital download.. so whenever you do an install, check for any downloaded patch files and what not, stored locally, save them to a exterenal. It will save you ALOT of downtime from having to download everything all over.

Also check out sites like Patch mirrors - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft that you can download patches after the fact. Mind you some are secured some aren't but i've used them before without problem (scanned files after downloaded without issue).
 
Ok, Instances/Dungeons sheesh minor technicality :) better?

Here to clarify for those that can't see thru the words:

* Zul'Aman is now a level-85 5-player Heroic dungeon. Players with a minimum average item level of 346 or higher can access this dungeon via the Dungeon Finder.
* Zul'Gurub is now a level-85 5-player Heroic dungeon. Players with a minimum average item level of 346 or higher can access this dungeon via the Dungeon Finder.
* Both Zul'Gurub and Zul'Aman exist in a separate tier in the Dungeon Finder above the current level-85 Heroic dungeons. Players can randomly queue for either dungeon by selecting the Rise of the Zandalari setting.

partition hd, move wow install and all files u want to keep to it. reformat other partition, win internets
 
Ill personally head to my main ISP office (Virgin media) with a rocket launcher and blow the fucker's up!! They once again fucked up my latency and been hitting 4k in game since last week and there denying this fuck all wrong even doe 15k people are having the same issue's.

I've thought about trying this on my next go around... do you just run the Repair after you redo your WIndows on the main partition then to set any registry settings and what not??

OUCH!!!! I do feel sorry for you.. i've been really milking my connection.. 5 or 6 wows at any given time, a Windows Home Server thats streaming video and audio to at least 2 or 3 family members at different parts of the country at any given time (US), plus downloading new movies and music thru torrents. And i'm lucky if i go above 100ms :) But then again the Extreme service is quite nice :)

You actually don't need to reinstall wow...just copy your directory to an external drive and then copy it back.
if you really want, clear out your WTF and interface folders and let it rebuild for a "clean" wow "install".
i keep a backup just cause giving up an hour and a half to install crap (with all the patches) is not fun...
 
I'm going to you know...actually play the game. The currency changes and extra honor is what I'm most looking forward too.
 
ok come on.. lets TRY to keep it a little clean ok? (and that doesn't mean no jokes about using soap afterwards)

I wonder how i'm going to do my dailies by hand =(
 
Ya know.. this patch is going to have some VERY twisted effects... Obsidium Ore will drop.. but on my realm.. i would sell a stack of Pyrite Ore every now and then and MIGHT get 100 to 120g.. now they are lucky if they go for less then 200g a stack.. LOL guess some people thing Epic gems are coming out right now
