I like working on programs for the iphone and droid. Nothing big. The only reason I even play wow is because of HB. If I couldn't do that I would just quit the game. But I spend most of my time reading and looking shit up for many types of languages, and wanted to know from the programmers here, what they thought will end up being the one that will "rule them all"? To quote a hairy midget.

What do you like? And why ?

I like C# most. Due the Possibility of the program. you can do alot of things with it.
I do like java to. as thats multiple OS able.

But its all what you like the most. dont use programs someone said its the best. as the best is only the one you use..

C# and VB for me. I'd like to learn C++ at some point.

I hate Java. Everything else is beautiful compared to Java.

I have currently only programmed in VB5 and VB10 languages, would love to expand to C++ or C# but i just have not found the time or a course that seems to satisfy me.

Lessee....

Like: C, C++, C#, PHP, Perl, Batch/Bash (w/e you feel like calling it), Python, Java, UnrealScript, LavishScript, Lua, Ruby [RoR], ASM, IL (kinda), few others I'm forgetting.

Hate: Anything ending in BASIC.

Yup, that's basically it.

id love to learn some kind of programming. even did computer science high and university. all in vain.. we are like oil and water..

Dll injection. C++. Frankly, I consider it more entertaining than most modern games, it's just one huge puzzle :). Always optimizing code, trying to find the best route, etc.

For those who know DLL/C++/C# how did you learn? Did you go through the educational system (Collage/University) or was it all self taught?
