what should I do with my ore and herbs

Should I just sell them raw??
I have the following professions herb mining jc alch inscription engeinerring
 
hello mate, i make alot from smelting ghost ore into ghost iron bars, that at the moment is where i am making my gold.
 
You can do several things actually

1. Sell Herbs/Ore as is
2. Make Ore into Bars, Sell Herbs and Bars
3. Send Herbs to Inscriptionist, Mill all herbs into inks, and make Shoulder Enchants/Darkmoon Cards.
Send ore to ur JC, and prospect all of the ore. Make Profitable Gems/Jewelery. Use Green gems to make as many Ornate Rings/Shadowfire Pendants as possible
Get Guildie to DE all of your Ornate Rings/Shadowfire Pendants and make them into the highest end mats possible...
Sell Shoulder Enchants/Darkmoon Cards/Gems/Jewlery/Enchanting Mats - You'll get more bang out of your buck this way
 
id also suggest getting an enchanter ASAP, to make enchants from those mats... your losing out on big gold by not allowing yourself to capitalize on this =-D

Also, ensure you are using your Living Steel CD daily as well as scroll of wisdom (Inscrip)

WOuldnt hurt to level a BS as well to make belt buckles... this will net u 100-200 more g per Living Steel minimum

Once u get in rhythm, its just getting used to posting non-stop lol


Crafted stuff takes longer to sell but makes more $$$ than Raw materials
 
sell them raw.. its the best and fastest way to sell them.. i do that since MoP release and have 6 million gold now
 
Although Hawkone is very truthful with his statement, I advise you just turn your herbs into shoulder enchants if you have a bad economy for herbs, and as far as ore, prospect it all, the green gems can be turned into jewelry and then disenchanted for about a 100% gain if not more, and the blue gems just sell really nice either way. You will get about a blue gem for every stack, selling alone for more than the ore will. I advise you do as soulravager said and shuffle!

and what is vendoring?? why would i sell my shoulder enchants to a vendor?

Mill a stack of herbs and you'll usually have 5 ink of dreams and half a starlight ink. With 3 ink of dreams you can create the BoP shoulder enchants, they sell to vendor for 18.75g.
Easy, safe and sometimes profitable (depends on what you do with starlight inks).
 
i dont have black smithing and how does engineering make gold?

link to that shuffle profile?

I doubt this very much. 20 ore goes for around 50g on my server whereas a stack of Bars goes for 80g. So sell 40 ore for 100g.
