What makes a character better than the rest ?

instead of botting multiple characters, im looking to turn my character from something that everybody has to something people wish they had,
but im only a casual player and don't know that much about the game

im wondering what titles, pets, mounts, companions and anything else i need to make it more than the standard 85

Title: Dragonslayer. Sinestra is the only unnerfed Cataclysm boss, and currently it is still the hardest end boss. Firelord/Saviour of Azeroth are way more common. "Dragonslayer" is a vintage 5000$ worth vinyl player, "Saviour of Azeroth" is a 100$ worth chinese boombox. "Firelord" is something in between.
Mount: Either spectral tiger. Instant jealousy guaranteed. On a small realm, you're going to get hundreds of whispers about that mount.
Pet: Any rare TCG pet. Murkalo/Tyrael's Hilt guarantee instant jealousy.
